This book was written with the intention of opening the eyes of today's Christians and teaching them to be more Christlike. In the past twenty years, there has been a huge decline in those who profess to be Christian, and this book lays out five of the top reasons why. I did not go into great detail on every one of these issues but more to open the eyes of Christians and make them aware of the problems. In future books, I will dive deep into these issues, starting with judgmentalism. Each one of these issues could make for books of its own and much longer than this introduction.We have pushed so many away from Christ because we thought it was our job to judge them. However, that isn't even close to what Jesus taught or how he acted. Our job is simply to be the light that brings others closer to Jesus, to fulfill the great commission.So many see us as prudish judgmental hypocrites, and far too often, they are right. We need to bring things back to the basics and do our best not to beat people over the head with our bibles. It's great that we know all of these verses, and there's a verse for everything, but let them come to us, and then we can openly share our testimony with them. For nobody has ever been shamed into a life change, but millions have been loved into them.We all have our roles to play. God is the creator, Jesus is the judge, the Holy Spirit repairs the souls, and we are to be the light that brings others to the Lord.My prayer is that after reading this book, Christians will learn to take a long look in the mirror and make corrections where necessary so that they can be the loving and caring Christians Christ intended them to be.

It culminates in a theodicy. A theodicy is a study of the relation between God and evil. This book answers the question: Why is there evil in the world?

My name is Bobby Jimmerson. My book is about my life and life on drugs. I was in love with rock cocaine that I use five hundred or more a day. I want the readers to know what the life on drugs will do to you. I need the world to know that drugs will only make you do things you would not have done. If it was not for the drugs I took from my wife and kids lied to get money to get more dope I even took from my own mother. I went to prison for two years, came home, went back to the drug--my lover rock cocaine--then in back up in prison for five years. So you see, my mind was not made up to be done with the cocaine, so I ended back up in prison with twenty-five years to life under the three-strike law for taking from people's homes. As you read the book, you will see where I once was, then you will see the changes get done in my life. The only thing I want to do now is to help others stay off drugs and out of gangs. This way, they will stay out of prison or out of the grave. If God changed my heart, he can do the same for you. I need my life to be a light now and the world to see there can be changed. We can't do it on our own. Try Jesus. He won't let you down. That's what the book is all about--the change that God has done in my life. God bless you, and I pray that you enjoy what you read. "Crack and Back" is a story of how I was entrenched in a life of drug addiction, my drug of choice being crack and the depths it took me. I share about my introduction to drug use and the gateway drugs that led me to finally start using crack/cocaine. I talk about the places crack took me, the near brushes I had with death, and the situations and circumstances that only God brought me through. My house, my cars, my job, and my family were all things I lost from my addiction. I talk about the dark places I visited and the relationships that were destroyed by using crack. I was from a small suburban town 30 miles north of Baltimore City called Aberdeen, but all the good drugs seemed to be found in the city streets. I finally found my way to them, even though I was raised in what was considered a friendly small town. So that is where I went; Baltimore City - the city I wound up in feeding my drug habit. My drug addiction took me to my rock bottom which led me to finally gain a relationship with my savior Jesus Christ.After finally starting to build a relationship with Jesus, I still wasn't quite done using drugs. Every time I fell back into my addiction, the life beating I received would always be worse than the previous. I was like a dog returning to his vomit. It took what it took for me to finally see the light, and then the change began; and my life started to get better after checking into a recovery home in California. I had to come to the West Coast to finally hear the message of recovery. As long as I stayed on the East Coast, my only answer was more drugs and alcohol. Familiar surroundings were part of my dilemma. God knew what it would take for me to finally take his love seriously. I was able to get a brand-new start in life once I arrived in Long Beach CA, and for that, I am truly grateful. That's when the "Back" portion of my story starts, and it is good to be "Back!".

I could not believe that I had landed myself in a blue jumpsuit and cell at Cook County Jail. I had never been exposed to anything like this and never knew that women even went to jail. I had traded my freedom for three hots and a cot. I found myself in serious trouble that would last for quite some time. I was not a religious or spiritual person. Although I attended all Catholic schools, God had met me at twenty-sixth in California, and that was the beginning of my relationship with Him. All the time that I thought the innocent rappie was there for me and that I would go home after trial, I actually was there to set him free by telling on myself. I still got a blessing, and everything worked out for my good. I am a better person because of the experiences that I endured!

There are a few truths that are woven throughout this book. In a way, it is also a story of my own life.First, realize that life is difficult and very complicated; however, all you need to know about how to succeed is stated with assurance in Psalm 1. Read it. Meditate on it daily. Heed it. You will succeed. This book is about Jaime H. Fuentes, born in the city of Santiago, Chile, a South American country along the Pacific Ocean. It details the everyday occurrences as a child living without the luxuries of having a TV, a telephone, nor the family owning a car, so for fun and entertainment, comic books were rented from a local kiosk, and for transportation, either a taxicab or the local bus was used to go shopping and to visit friends and relatives. But there was never a dull moment as congregating with the kids in the neighborhood playing hide-and-seek and riding go-karts was a lot of fun and their father took them to the stadium almost every weekend to watch their professional soccer team Colo-Colo play.Once their grandmother made the transition of moving to the United States, their hopes were elevated as they also dreamed of moving to America, but it would take years after their mom followed their grandmother to America for Jaime, his brother, and his sister to finally make it to the United States.Once in America, he experienced the differences in the schools, the multiple cultures, and being able to afford a color TV set, a telephone, and a car and at the same time adapting to the cold weather including seeing snow coming down for the first time and the struggles in learning the English language and discovering the challenges of dating that includes the drama and the pain and suffering when it does not work out. In this passage, there's only one word to describe Jonna's efforts, and that's teamwork. For me, it's normally how you get the dream to work. Jonna had a dream that she was a school teacher in a classroom full of colorful fish that all talk to one another loud and unruly. She noticed how one of the fish from her dream was already living with her, and the other fish teased her all the time about being so bright and how she couldn't hide from them. Cherubims, what are they? What did God do with them? They are a mystery even to Bible scholars. Cherubims are first mentioned in the Holy Bible at the end of Genesis Chapter 3. In Exodus, 2 small models of Cherubims are on the Ark of the Testimony (Ark of the Covenant).The Ark of the Covenant was first put in the Tabernacle in the most holy place. Later when the Temple of Solomon (Temple of God) was built, the Ark was put in the most holy place, or Oracle. Solomon made 2 large models of Cherubims within the Oracle of the Temple.Cherubims are not imaginary figures. They are not angels. They are not mere ornaments. God used them mightily! David saw God ride and fly on a Cherub! Ezekiel saw four of them! He called them 'living creatures' before he knew their name. God used the Cherubims to fight for Israel in the Old Testament. Will God use them again?

I pray that as beautiful people pick up this book based on the title that they would be reminded of their grandma's love for them. God gave me this story one day after church service, and I began to write it. Two of the characters were real people in my life. Additionally, Grandpa and Grandma remind me of growing up with my lovely parents, four brothers, and three sisters on the west side of Detroit, Michigan, in a close community with families, churches, colleges, fun, music, GM, tigers, baseball, and love that was second to none.This book and others following are about God's love for us all and that growing up will always be a part of you--the good and bad times.
