The Holy Spirit visited me again while I was awake. It was a vision; the white cursive message floated in the air, God is amazing the Holy Spirit spoke to me and He can speak to you also. Previously I received a vivid dream from God while sleeping. I was given instructions to write. Life is good. For most of us in America, life is very good. Many of us spend our years following our career dreams, enjoying those we love, trying to give back to our communities, and even being involved in our church. It is all great stuff.The good life becomes the goal. It gives a confident but false feeling of security by letting us think God must be okay with us because things are smooth. We rarely, if ever, seek to know our Creator in a personal way. Often justifying that our decisions are His will, we glide along through the good life.But He wants more. When there is an awakening of the soul, it is God calling us. Sometimes life takes us to a place we don't know--but a place where God can get our attention. And if we are fortunate enough to listen and choose to follow His call, He will respond and come in and dwell with us. We finally belong. We belong to the one who transcends this life. Our desire to be with Him begins to absorb us.For some, this can be a traumatic or dramatic experience. But many may not have such an eventful conversion. The good, decent life that many live in today's America may actually make it more difficult to realize that the plan of salvation is meant for each individually. God does not want to just coexist somewhere out there; He is the reason for our existence. He loves us and wants a relationship with each of us.

According to many Christian leaders, early Genesis is a myth or allegory.Therefore, Adam and Eve never lived, Eve was never tempted, and Adam never sinned. There was no creation week, so God did not make the earth, the stars, the birds, fish, or the animals. This has become the default position of many Christian teachers, ministries, and campuses. This is not just mainline churches, but evangelicals have joined the ranks of doubters in creation.This is a reaction to the claims of Christians who work in the sciences, claiming that evolution is now an established fact. As a result, creation week is put in the category of myth or allegory, not history. New interpretations of Genesis abound.There is just one problem. This may be how people interpret Scripture, but it is not how Scripture interprets Scripture. Scripture treats Genesis as history. If you are wondering whether Genesis can be interpreted as true history, the struggle is over. Jesus is not just the cornerstone of the church. He is the cornerstone of creation.

It is the focus of God to reconcile (2 Corinthians 5:19) the world to himself. I understand reconciliation is to bring back, to clear up differences between disagreeing parties. We look around today in our communities, cities, states, and nations, and we as believers witness the confusion among nonbelievers and some believers. In many instances, the confusion is identical in both camps--believers and nonbelievers alike. This should not be the case--confusion and distress should not control the emotions of the believer, for God gives the believer a peace of mind that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). In this reading, the believer will be reintroduced, or in some cases, introduced to living this Christian life as Jesus our Lord and Savior meant us to live it. I pray the hands which touch this book will allow the Holy Spirit to guide them as each page is turned and the truth of God's word when read will revive, fill, restore the heart and mind of that believer.

We take for granted how important our hands are. Our hands are 100 percent responsible for our capability to work, to play sports, to drive, to cook, to hold hands, etc. I cannot imagine life without my hands. When our hands are used for good, they can provide us with wealth, fame, and a prosperous life. Our hands are a blessing, but if we misuse them to do things that are illegal, they can be a curse "What are your hands doing?"

No one, even myself, ever thought I would and could write poetry. Yet with God, all things are possible!I have seen more tragedy and death in my life than I would hope no other person ever has to go through. However, through these things, God has brought me out victorious. I have not been perfect, no, not even close. I have fallen short many times in my life, yet God is always there to forgive and guide me home. I can never thank Jesus enough for all He has done for me!After the loss of my wife of forty-three years, I felt so alone and hurt. God comforted me and sent to me a wonderful Christian lady to be my love again. It has been a wonderful miracle to see how God does care and loves each one of us and knows what we need in this life."Making Your Own Footprints in the Sand" was my first real poem and has always been my favorite, and it continues to help me and guide me through life's good days and stormy days.At the end of this book, I give several thoughts that God has given me over the years.
