How the Soul Was Won is truly a work of God. It is his message to the world to let all people know how valuable they are. It is also a detailed description of how God has planned to win every soul through love and grace. It is my personal desire, through humility, that you understand I am the messenger of God.How the Soul Was Won is a byproduct of my many years of ministry as a pastor and a chaplain. What that means will be evidenced in some of the stories and events that have occurred for over twenty-five years. Many of these events that occurred I was as astonished as the patient, the parishioner, and the fellow servant involved. Therefore, this is a book about the Triune presence of God working in ways that is sometimes unknown to humanity to bless his people. This is not a book about theology, doctrinal standards, and who is right in the eyes of God. It is rather about the righteous nature of God, looking after his people through love and grace to transform the lost to the found, the sick to the well, the unhappy to the happy, and the few to the multitudes. From the beginning, God has planned to win your soul. The sooner we know this, the better we live.It has been my intention to share with this audience that soul winning is the work of God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit through grace and love. This is God's victory, and you, me, and the whole world are the benefactors. We are children of God. This is a process where God deals with many circumstances of our lives for victory over them. And when each stage is won, it's onto the next stage to produce the peace that passes all understanding. I am hoping this book has at least a two-fold use: to read and discern your own transformation and, second, to pull back off the shelf when chaos of the world tries to challenge your faith, peace, and strength.

  • - I Am Who I Am Because of Who I Am in Me!
    av Maria C Batino
    198,-

All humans have secrets and so does God. God's secrets are hidden treasures that needed to be discovered, treasured, and shared. While human secrets are hidden trashes that had been paid and covered by the blood of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, on the cross once and for all! For God had promised us that, "Though your sins are like scarlet, I will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, I will make them as white as wool" (Isaiah 1:18). And he has already removed our sins as far as the east is from the west when he nailed them on the cross. He also promised us this, "I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins" (Hebrews 8:12). For we died to our old life and our real life is hidden with Christ in God! Once, we were dead to the power of sin in our lives, but now, we are alive to God through our resurrection life in Christ! So don't beat yourself up! God is not finished with you yet. He, who began a good work in you, will finish it to the end. For he is the Author and Finisher of your journey to faith, hope, love. Your story is not finished yet until his story becomes your story, and that is the greatest story about to unfold for his glory!

The basic principle of this book is if anyone will submit their life to Christ, they will have success, stability in life, security, and a wonderful future. Dr. Soliman sets the essential steps to fulfill one's dreams, no matter what poor condition you find yourself in. This is not only guaranteed because it is written or read but based on actual circumstances. The author states the foundations for success based on his daily experiences in his life of eighty-plus years. He started his life from the bottom, penniless, until he reached the top by the powerful hand of God. Enjoy the journey as he digs into his personal life, family dynamics, human relationships, and children's upbringing and brings all under the umbrella of God and His plan for everyone.

God is greatly concerned about His Church. I am writing, not out of a desire to write books, but because God shared His heart with me and His concern. This book came from several dreams I had over a one-year period. I believe the Body of Christ is being called to repent, to rebuild God's Church, and become the bride that His Son Jesus will come to receive, "without spot or wrinkle."It is time for churches around the world to arise, shake off the sin and ways of the world, and move in power to raise up God's Church and be like Jesus: "be about our Father's business."I have one book in print, The Way of Escape from the Darkness, printed by Christian Faith Publishing in Meadville, Pennsylvania. The book was released in December 2022. This is a good preparatory writing to read before this new book.

As a single parent, do you ever feel like you're just winging it until your child turns eighteen, and then it will be all over? Often, single parents have nowhere to turn for advice on day-to-day issues because many live in semi-isolation or are hidden within society, even in the church. Proverbs for the Single Parent uses the book of Proverbs from the Bible written by King Solomon, who was known at the time to be the wisest person on the planet. According to Webster's Dictionary, a proverb is a truth based on common sense and experience. There is so little out there that addresses the true, deeper issues of life like Proverbs does. This devotion will help the reader with so many questions, struggles, and the pain of single parenting. It includes insight and prayers from the author, who has lived it out for over 30 years. This is not your average devotional because it is not meant to be read on a schedule or even in order because most parents with young children are much too stretched and busy for that. Each page, written as a letter just for you, has an adjoining page for journaling your responses.Whether you're a single mom, dad, or even grandparent, or know someone who is with strong faith or no faith at all this book has many useful insights and nuggets handpicked just for you; The Single Parent.

We sometimes tend not to think of our spiritual lives when regarding our natural everyday lives. However, in the grand scheme of things, our natural lives are closely related and directed by our spiritual lives. Should you meditate, you will likely recognize the connection between the two. By no means do we suggest replacing your personal connection and private time with this book. However, we encourage inspiration in addition to the daily reading of the Bible! This book provides daily inspiration by proffering short parables paired with biblical text. It is our intent that these brief inspirations extend hope, encouragement, direction, laughs, and epiphanies as needed.

Grayson usually tried to follow rules and be patient and listen to his mother's instructions. But, one day, he decided he would not obey her and would make up his own mind about what he wanted to do.Grayson was going to learn, however, that there were good reasons for his mother's instructions. He learned that if you choose not to obey, you may find yourself in trouble and quite possibly in a lot of danger. Read Safe on the Crooked Brick to find out how Grayson's unwise decision turned out. Read how an old, crooked brick that was part of the sidewalk in front of his house, became a haven of safety to him.And read about the time when he had a chance to pass on what he learned from his experience to someone else so they did not make the same mistake.

  • - The Mystical Union of Marriage
    av Dwayne New
    235,-

Many couples grapple with the divine institution of "marriage" trying to understand its value and meaning for which a blueprint was not handed. Often, couples enter marriage ill-equipped to handle the issues of life in a pressure-cooked world. Consequently, when challenges arise, many spouses say "fix her" or "fix him" or may simply choose to walk away from the marriage, only to get involved with another person and start the vicious cycle again. On the other hand, for those couples who opt to remain in their marriage, they may simply just endure the relationship without ever learning the essential precepts to thrive as a team. So what is this thing called marriage? In this life-changing book, When Three Hearts Align, the authors believe marriage is a divine institution created by God whereby a man and a woman choose to enter a covenant relationship with each other and have made an "unconditional lifetime commitment" to God to stay with and become one with an imperfect person. You might ask, "How does one do that?" The authors state, "Marriage is a mystical union." It is not easily understood without the willingness to know and understand the Creator of marriage.Furthermore, the authors give invaluable insight and relatable stories that will empower couples, give them hope, and give them the courage to fight for their marriage. The authors seek to help couples realize that the divine institution of marriage is not the issue. We are merely imperfect people who enter the institution of marriage and need to be equipped with the necessary tools to have a successful marriage. Admittedly, this book will challenge our thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs about how we see ourselves, our spouse, and the significant role we have in the success or failure of our marriage and even other friendships.Think about this: wherever you go, there you are. If you are ready to transform your life and marriage, get ready to embrace this journey of self-awareness, self-correction, and unconditional love while seeing the value of cultivating and maintaining a servant's heart toward God and toward each other. This book When Three Hearts Align, will unlock and reveal the mystical union of marriage.

  • - A Narrative-Systems Approach
    av Dorothy R Dann
    247,-

This book needs to be in the hands of every pastor, church leader, counselor, consultant, mediator, and leader in higher education, organizations, the workplace, and any other place where there are two or more people having two or more opinions. Its goal is to help a congregation or organization build inner resources that could stabilize life together and produce a more adequate and stable organization for the future. The approach was a real lifesaver for the author who, as a relatively new pastor, was appointed to a church in conflict while working toward a degree in counseling. Applying her studies in family systems theory and narrative therapy to congregational life, she developed a model for conflict intervention in the church (and workplace). She claims she would have been "sunk" without the research, coursework, advisers, and the fifty-two hours of clinical supervision that went into it. At her new appointment, it was clear that members were lost, hurting, and hampered in using their gifts to build up the whole body. Their story as a congregation was saturated with the pain of sustained conflict; they longed to be reclaimed by the love of God so that they might bring the healing power of the gospel to others. The intervention was highly successful. Leaders began interacting in a healthy manner, working together toward wholeness. They had a new focus--on strength, not weakness; on leadership and health, not pathology. It had changed from "who has the problem" to "who has the motivation." This change in the more emotionally healthy parts at the higher levels in the system began to produce a change in the system as a whole. This book is not about quick fixes (which do not exist). It's about ideas, not directions; hope, not merely well-charted diagrams; and encouragement, not rigid rules. The reader will come away with a clearer understanding of their organization as a system, the power of presence, what it means to be an equipping leader, and will be informed as to how to exercise responsibility in effecting a cure.

  • - Taking the Gospel to the Tarahumara Indians of Mexico
    av Steven Real
    329,-

He Who Has Begun A Good Work is the true testimonial about just one missionary's life in one tribal location of the world. The real story here is about how God is faithfully and miraculously building His church: the family of believers who He calls "servants", but also "friends"; "followers", but also "ambassadors". It is a story that should inspire every believer in the Lord Jesus Christ to participate in whatever role God has designed that person for in this one and only life He has given us on earth. In this story of honesty about one man and his family's human struggles, spiritual battles, and victories, the theme of the title shines through to the end. During four and a half years of training, nine years of service in one of the most rugged areas in North America, and in the follow-up summary of that ministry, He (God) Who began that good work is shown to be still continuing it! This account should be an inspiration to anyone considering going into full-time Christian work or who is struggling through it, wondering if it is worth all the effort.

    353,-

In 1965, a rock group named The Byrds reached back over 2,000 years and took verses from the book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible. When they released their song, the world sang "To everything - turn, turn, turn; There is a season - turn, turn, turn." Now, fifty years later, my book lets you consider these Old Testament words and evaluate their truth in your life. You first consider the role of choice and chance and then examine the negative side of life including natural disasters, demons, teasers, seductresses, weights, kryptonite, parasites, lunacy, idiocy, and other adverse influences. Next, you examine the positive side including angels, updrafts, sunshine, spinach, holidays/vacations, values, flowers, infusions, charms, and other positive influences. At the book's end, you determine how you see life and make plans to grow your life using your gifts and blessings. There are more than two dozen essays in this book and you reveal your thinking as you answer each essay question. Then I ask you to go online and post your anonymous answer on the website created just for this book. Your answer will be added to the Worldwide Bank of Wisdom(c) we will create together. Be part of this effort and help the world learn again!

To Inspire Young PeopleThere are many types of powers, but there is no power like God's power. Whatever you do or have in mind to do, let the Holy Spirit lead you. He will lead you and show you the light.Young people do not have to succumb to the pressures of the times, like getting "high," because God will take you higher than any man has ever gone or will ever go. He will even make you love your enemies. So when your friends turn their backs on you, He (God) is always there. Sometimes, we have to suffer a bit for our faith, where it seems like everyone is against us. But if you will have faith in God, He will always come to your rescue. God sent His only Son to die for our sins so that we could be made whole. Not half has been told about what God has done for us. God is still the same although times change. He is still the same God. Yet man says, "God is dead." I know He is alive in me as a witness. To all young people, there is only one power, and that is God's power. Take hold of His salvation! As you have finished reading these few memoirs (because all my experiences with God are too vast to contain in this little book), I appeal to you this day, as in Matthew 8:25: And his disciples came to him and awakened Him, saying, "Lord, save us, perish."I am saying to you now, "Ask Him to save you right now while you are in His presence." Do not put it off any longer, for we know not what tomorrow may hold.

Why go back to things that cause us sadness? We all dream of a perfect life, but at some point, we find out it's not, just like it was when Jesus walked this earth. I always told my kids when they were faced with difficult problems to keep their faith, but we have to discover that in our own journey of life. We all know darkness exists in this world. Almost every day, we see this played out in terrible ways on the news. Things seem so out of control for us at times. But the truth is, faith as small as a mustard seed can bring hope, and the light will shine through.

God uses me for healing with his sweet love through my hands where he places his anointing. God just wants us to know that he is there for us for the little problems that we may have in our lives. He is there to work it out along with the bigger situations. He wants us to depend on him, and he wants us to totally put our trust in Jesus so that it will all work out. Every event in this book only came to pass because of the trust and faith that these saints have in God. Every event is true because the Holy Spirit was at the beginning and the end of every situation. He not only let the saints know how he can work out the situation, he even taught them how to pay attention and to hear his voice to guide them out of harm's way. God loves us that much, and God will do what's necessary to take care of his saints. So thank you, Lord, for truly having me as part of our life.

By creating a storybook series, we can create a wonderland of adventure and mystery. Exploring the different parts of the world and their cultures as our little friends look to find their new home. In the first book, we are introduced to Peanie, a cute little ground inhabitant who loses his way home in a storm and ends up on an unusual island with the funny little tree nutties, Knobbie Nutties to be exact. Here, along with Peanie, we'll meet the nine main tiny little tree flutterers and how they adopt Peanie into their family. We also will notice that the special trees called the Knobbie Trees where the Knobbie Nutties build their homes in are sick. The next book will show how Peanie helps them temporarily live on the ground until they can find a new home. The series of books to follow will be the adventures where the small group set off to find where Peanie is from and get him back home safely while at the same time looking for a new home for themselves.Along with the thrill of adventure, we can instill values and teach our children a lesson by the end of each book. I will illustrate that being different is a good thing. That we can each learn from our differences in a positive way. Children need positive reinforcements in their lives from an early age. These are cute, fun little characters with a whole new world to explore. I feel a child will embrace these lovable little Knobbie Nutties and enjoy their adventures together.

    av Larry R W Bostic

From the beginning, God declared that we need to have a faith-based confidence in him, where we can understand our decision to accept Jesus as our Savior, and devotedly follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ. In order to do this, we must believe in the inerrant Word of God telling us who Jesus is, how we are to live, and understand the need for and way to salvation. Have you ever wondered what salvation is, why it is necessary, how it is attained, and how all the details your pastor wants you to conform to is part of following Jesus Christ? What is baptism? Who is the Holy Spirit? Why should I pray, tithe, or go to church? What does it mean to guard your heart? Is there a hell? And will God send you there? These and many more questions have been researched, applied using God's principles in a detailed fashion, written in an easy-to-understand manner, and are found inside, backed by the Word of God. Don't go through this existence guessing where you will go after life and what you should be doing before your death. Read your Bible to gain intimacy and knowledge of your Savior. Read this companion book to see the subjects needed to know in your development of a journey through life. Know what the Bible says, and make your own statement of faith.
