As I stand here, waiting for the ship to sail to begin a second journey in my life, I find myself looking out over this beautiful city. I stand, remembering a time when there was once a beautiful wildflower who was with me on this journey of life. We both believed that we were each other's one true love who held the other half of our souls. Since we parted ways, I can only pray that my beautiful wildflower has found someone who she believes holds the key to her heart. I find myself, once again, standing all alone, only remembering the good times in which we travel down this ol' rugged road that our Heavenly Father placed before us. You are no longer with me to continue our journey in life. I can only wonder what our lives would be like today if you had opened the door of your heart and let your love find its way unto me.

Starting to pray at a young age can lead to a successful and healthy life. As the Bible says in Proverbs 22:6, guiding children can help them stay on the right path as adults. The teachings of 3 John 2 encourage us to strive for success and good health in all aspects of our lives. I was fortunate enough to have my great-grandmother and Father teach me how to pray as a child. My early experiences with prayer helped me to develop a successful prayer life. As a teenager, I spent late nights in worship, developing Zeel in prayer. The triumph, accomplishment, and expertise have inspired me to write this book. The information presented serves as a guide to help Christians, families, friends, and groups strengthen their prayer lives and overcome obstacles. People can avoid problems and improve communication with God by praying defensively and öensively. The keys, tactics, and approaches outlined in this book can help us awaken our faith and dedicate ourselves to Jesus Christ. As Matthew 26:41 reminds us, we must watch and pray to avoid temptation. Our spirit may be willing, but our ¿esh is weak. This book aims to teach people how to pray without fear and overcome the spiritual obstacles of con artists in their private prayers.

In September 1989, Egon Krenz, deputy chairman of the GDR State Council, was sent to Beijing to congratulate China's political leadership personally and on behalf of the SED polite office for successfully suppressing the "Counter-revolutionary uprising," better known as the Tiananmen Square Massacre. This is the historical background of the story of this book. The military commander refused to follow the order to use lethal force against the protestors marching around churches. The protests increased, and the Communist Government of that part of Germany crumbled. The rest is history. But as outlined in Part 1 of this historical fiction trilogy, it could have come differently. The Second Row Communists took over. They installed the new Agency Office of Investigation and Recovery (OIR) to secure that takeover. What would this new Agency actually investigate? And what would it be able to recover? How would the Underground Resistance Movement develop under an additional thread by that new Agency? Are the new Central Committee members really going ahead and executing former powerful members of the Leadership of the Old Guard? And will the execution of these hated former leaders calm down the people's protests and reduce the turmoil in the nation so that the new power can get it under control? All these questions are answered in Part 2 of the Trilogy.

Words of Encouragement from My Father is a book of inspirational poetry given to me from God to uplift, encourage, minister to, and strengthen the hearts and minds of his people, along with those whom will become his. Also, most of the poems were written during the time I was dealing with the spirit of depression. While being depressed, God gave me poetry as an outlet to release that spirit from me. Encouraging others is second nature to me. Every emotion, though, and experience went into this book.

For many years, I have been wondering whether the biblical patriarchs from Noah down to Abraham could be identified in historic sources outside the Bible. After many years of research, I finally unlocked the key and determined that, in fact, all of the Biblical patriarchs were real historic figures in ancient Sumerian and Assyrian documents. As has been shown to be the case with many historic figures from that time, the names given to these people in the ancient Sumerian and Assyrian records differ from those names in the Bible. However, the description of their act makes it possible to identify them in these ancient non-biblical records. Once that process began, I was able to flesh out the historical roles from these Bible Patriarchs played in the development of civilization after the flood. Just as Noah from the Bible has been known as Ziusudra and Utnapishtim in Sumerian and Babylonian records, so to have the other ten Biblical Patriarchs now been identified in history. This book begins with the sons of Shem and proceeds down to Abraham. In the process of making this discover, Mr. Norris has also been able to prove, from Non-Biblical sources, that these Patriarchs did in fact live very long as noted in the Bible.

I am Val Bower a daughter, a wife, a mother, a sister, a grandmother, and a friend. I gave birth to three beautiful children and later adopted two more; I also have four stepchildren. I have spent the majority of my adult life working with people who need some kind of help.Usually a little bit of stress is a good motivator for me. But when you hear the Doctor say the words cancer and the name of your child, then I wouldn`t be too sure that your mind would know how to process that. Moreover. when the next doctor tells you he has two weeks or maybe a month to live? You`d pray.Someone once told me that I didn`t have enough faith. I was taught to pray, "Gods will be done". I said that prayer for months and added, "God give me strength to face the future". I kept a journal of the days and weeks of struggles and hardships, based on this mom`s feelings. I have no intention of causing pain or anger to anyone; rather, these are all based on my opinion. My wish is that after reading this, parents will hold their babies more often. Sisters and brothers will say I love you and mean it. I wish for families to realize that tomorrow may not come. Every day should have a memory to hang on to.

There is a certain magic that comes from falling asleep in the backseat and waking up far away. Like fairies, we were transported to a new world and when that world ended a short time later, we found another one to take its place. When we saw the familiar orange and white U-Haul trailer parked outside our house, we knew it was time to leave. Like an echo of times past, all five of us would jam into the car, our familial womb, along with our bewildered pets, awaiting the next stop.Riding in the Backseat with My Brother takes readers through a journey beginning in the '50s steered by a dad who had wanderlust, and a nervous mother who gave her third child away following a nervous breakdown after his birth. Our lineage of distant relatives some called gypsies, wanderers, or Irish Travelers, had not skipped this generation altogether. "As we bounced across the country, sucking up the sounds, smells, and sights of new places, the events along the way formed us, making imprints in our hearts and minds forever."
