This book has been updated to using only the King James Version of the Bible. The original material for this book was written in December 2019 & January 2020, prior to the removal of normalcy from the world, of which I am thankful for that. With such a distraction that COVID-19 has become in our daily lives, I pondered the timing of the book back when it was published in January 2020. Certainly I would not have wanted the book to become skewed with thoughts of the current situation on my mind. In October of 2020 a bonus chapter was written and added to the ministry's website (www.AllWillStand.org). This update to that book includes that chapter The End is Near. In this chapter the argument is made based upon biblical prophecy of why President Trump MUST be a suspect of being the Antichrist. This is not my opinion, this is based upon what the Bible clearly states. As is well known, President Trump lost the election or had it stolen, depending on how you look at things. Whether he runs in 2024 or not is unknown as of this final update to the book (March 2022). The purpose of the book, to show how the Antichrist could rise to power and Christians would not know it, is still as relevant as ever. A verse of interest: "But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end." Daniel 7:26 Could this verse, big question here, possibly suggest that the Supreme Court ruled against President Trump, until the end Regardless of how the future plays out, one thing is certain. Whether or not President Trump remains a suspect of being the Antichrist or not matters little. The simple fact that he can be used as an example of how the Antichrist could rise to power and the church would seemingly not notice it, provides ample evidence of how such a thing could happen. To my Baptist friends, particularly those who are independent, fundamental Baptists, I would ask you a question based upon a premise that you have. You have a correct premise that the Antichrist will come out of Rome, many thinking of the European Union. Well, where is Rome? To that effect I would direct you to a book coauthored with Brandon Schurchardt called The End: A Final Warning to the Inhabitants of the Earth. In that book (which you can get for free off of the website), a compelling case is made that the United States of America is the revived Roman Empire. To close, much could be said about how COVID-19, immunity certificates, etc., could be preparing the world for the mark of the Beast (Rev. 13:16) or even perhaps become the mark of the Beast during the "time of Jacob's trouble" (Jer. 30:7), better known as the Tribulation. Yet the scope of this book is not about that, the above referenced book is. Certainly with the condition of the world, if there was ever a time in the history of mankind to be watching and ready (Luke 12:37-40), this would be it. I don't suppose to have all of the answers, nor can any man, but we do have what we need and that is God's Word to mankind, the Holy Scriptures. Our goal as Believers is not to search for the Antichrist, but to preach the Gospel that people might be Saved. Nonetheless, when a man is rising to power, like Donald Trump, it should certainly be pointed out that he matches the characteristics laid out regarding prophecy about the Antichrist. Seek God before it is too late! "And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:13 "(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)" 2nd Corinthians 6:2

Previously published as "John: A Tale of a Knight" by Melissa Koons, winner of the Editor's Choice Award in 2013 upon first publication. Stationed on Wake Island in the fall of 1941, a wise-cracking soldier has to decide if saving his childhood friend from a path of self-destruction is worth exposing his greatest betrayal. Ben is irresponsible and immature; he only enlisted in the marines because his best friend asked him to, but he has no interest in saving the day. John has a hero-complex and a need to prove himself in order to overcome his abusive past, and joining the Marines during World War II seemed like the best opportunity to do so. John is trying to prove himself better than his past, but he is risking not only his future, but his life as well. John doesn't seem to see what all is at stake, but Ben knows that this is not the fantasy game of knights and King Arthur that they played as boys: it is a very real war. He can save John, but to do so would mean exposing his greatest act of betrayal which will destroy their friendship forever. Ben must make a choice fast: save his friend or preserve their friendship; time is running out as the war closes in on Wake Island.
When an irreverent, South Boston artist receives counseling from a renowned, Ivy League-trained psychotherapist, we are forced to ask: which of our characters is more mentally stable -- the doctor, or the patient? This story follows Zach Foster, who after painting a controversial exhibition on the Iraq War, undergoes therapy with the infamous Dr. Delano Pergo. While Dr. Pergo helps Zach step outside his tortured self and overcome his inner demons, Dr. Pergo's psychological health deteriorates -- a descent prompted by decades of guilt from encouraging his almost fiancé, Chiara, to rekindle a relationship with her estranged mother; a reunion that went tragically wrong and forever changed the lives of our characters. In His Name Was Ellis by Joseph Libonati, we experience life's bitter moments in a highly personal and reflective tone. Influenced by eastern philosophical and existential thought, the characters are symbolic of the yin-yang activities of the psyche. The book is geared for introspective adults of all ages.
