    Arkansas Knights is based on events that transpired through the 30s and 40s, culminating in the death in the early 1950s of the owner/operator of one of the largest farming operations in the United States. The farm was located in Northwest Arkansas and was so large, the owner built a small town on the farm that catered to workers, share croppers, and misc. people connected to the operations of the business. Guests who came to conduct business with the owner was furnished very comfortable sleeping rooms and complimentary meals in the cafe. Other visitors to the community were instructed by the town marshal by 3.00 pm to leave because it was a 3-4 hr drive to the nearest motel.
