The Disciplined Dreamer is my personal story of everything that I had to endure while achieving one of my long-term goals, completing my bachelor's degree. It's here that I share my joys, my sorrows, my passion and my progress along that journey. I pray that everything I share is able to wake up the dream on the inside of everyone that reads it. Each chapter holds valuable lessons that I am still able to employ to this day. I chose to convey those lessons in comparison to a voyage at sea because I felt this was the best analogy to help my readers understand and connect my journey to their own. I never realized that a simple decision would impact the entire trajectory of my life the way that it has but this book is proof that every step that you make towards your goals is a building block for the next.

  • - John Oliver's 101 Favorite History Lies

There is absolutely nothing more fun than lying confidently about history. Lying is incredibly fun. In fact, the only thing that feels better than lying to someone is lying to someone, then regaining their trust, and then lying to them again. This book, for example, was promised to be released in April 2016. But that was a lie. The plan was always October 2018. Because, you know, now is a time in history when lying openly gets you elected to office. In this book, you will find plenty of plausible but completely unverifiable nonsense. Almost like watching Fox News but with a better sense of humour. Hopefully, it will teach you much about nothing other than the true joy of lying to people. Honestly, there has never been a better moment in history to be a liar. We have reached a point where truths have become lies and lies are now the truth. So learn from the greatest and get inspired by the best lies in history. *NB: Most profits from this book are going to finance railway infrastructure under the English Channel. Contains strong language.

Surah al-Araf (The Heights Border Between Hell & Paradise) is the seventh surah of the Qur''an, with 206 verses. It is a Meccan sura. Its final verse, verse 206, requires a sajdah, or prostration.Al-Araf is one of the most detailing Surah about the origins of creation and revealing prophecies about the judgment day, it starts by telling us how Satan made our ancestors Adam and Eve to leave heaven and all of the three came down to earth and from that point Satan became the number one enemy for humanity, and how he refused to obey God and asked him to keep him alive to show him the vulnerability of this new creature the Human being, the Surah then starts by telling us how Satan misled thousands of populations over time and gives us examples of some prophets who suffered in order to gain their lost companions to the right path. Then the Surah says that every community or people that will come on earth will think that they are better than those before and thus better the examples cited above, but in fact those who will not believe in God, or got misled by Satan from the right path will have the same punishment, Hell, and people have to pay attention because Satan and his people can see you but you can''t.It also reveals that prophecies about the coming of Prophet Muhammad SAW were present in the Jewish law and Gospel.7:157

Are you being called to build? Is there a burning in your soul that you believe has been placed there by God? Do you feel compelled, driven, determined to do something in God's kingdom by what you have observed needs done? You are not so different from Nehemiah, a man who was moved to go and do what many had seen, but none had dared address. What is God calling you to? On 11 June 1873 Thomas Laws, a carpenter and Methodist lay preacher, together with his wife and two small children boarded the sailing ship Douglas in London. They were emigrating to New Zealand, and they travelled in the cheapest part of the ship. The journey took them round the south of Africa and then east to New Zealand - a non-stop voyage, without sight of land, lasting 108 days. Thomas kept a detailed diary of this and of a return trip in 1901 via the Suez Canal, when he visited for the last time, his childhood home town of Ponteland near Newcastle. There are a few published accounts of the emigration journey by ship to New Zealand, and none of them includes the contrasting descriptions of sail and steam that are found in Thomas''s diaries. In addition, while Thomas was visiting Ponteland, he wrote about his childhood and early life in a series of reminiscences. These reveal to the reader the inner motivation for his urgent desire to leave England. His diary is not merely factual; he describes not only what he sees but also what he feels about the situations he encounters. For example, when he leaves his home town and his relatives, after his visit in 1901, knowing he will never see them again, he writes:"As we lost sight of each other, the blackness of midnight settled upon my soul. The last 48 hours have almost made me wish I had never left New Zealand, the agony of parting being almost too big a price to pay for the all too brief enjoyment of the old scenes and friends of former times."Almost everyone in New Zealand and Britain with the surname ''Laws'' is related to Thomas Laws.In addition to Thomas''s full text, this book includes a full introduction and over fifty contemporary photographs.
