Modern-Day Prayers is a collection of reflections and prayers for the modern world.

  • av Matthilda May Brown
    159,-

This collection of stories travels forward into the future and way back into the past. The characters may be Irish, Indian, or Atlantean; Native American, African, or Australian. They might remind you of your neighbour, a friend, or a family member. You might even find a part of yourself in some of them. Certainly you will be aroused to ask questions of your own journey. All these stories except the first experience death in some way. This is not to be morbid, but to reveal the magic in endings. From endings come new beginnings-if we let them. The last story shows the wonder of letting go in readiness to be emptied. Only when we are emptied can we be filled.

Luckily, the mysterious space probe locks onto the astronauts' radio signal and makes a connection. A robot named "Interface" contacts the Earth shuttle and explains he has been programmed to be peaceful, but nothing is certain in this brave new world. With information from Interface, the astronauts return to Earth and meet with Joseph. The science gleaned from Interface could change everything we ever believed about space and our place in it. • - Tools and Activities
    av Tamara von Forslun
    362,-

Witchcraft is far more than just spellcraft and celebrations. It is about honouring the ancient tradition and all the witch tools and fellowship that kept the tradition alive through the burning times before it was reawakened in the twentieth century. The Witches' Coven will help you discover the secrets, the origins, and the symbolism behind every tool of the witch. Each tool has a magickal purpose as a key within our magick circle, which is the temple of the Goddess and the God of Nature. Each tool is also a sacred key to a specific magickal power that acts as a conduit for either electrical, magnetic, electromagnetic, or alchemical change with one's will. Many modern witches are not aware of these ancient tools, which are as important today as they were thousands of years ago, both for solitary witches and for full working covens. The coven fellowship is a committed working spiritual family and is more important now in the twenty-first century than it was in the past, since we need the fellowship of a spiritual and magickal family to commit to a way of life that is as ancient as life itself. In The Witches' Coven, you can work with the tools and enjoy the activities of fellowship, becoming one with the Goddess and God and all of Nature.

Fortunately for the disappointed young gull, a Cormorant named Dastfee, a friend of Onnorsos, invites him to live on the outskirts of her colony. Streak accepts the invitation, but still hopes to become a member of the gull colony he's admired. Not long after Streak settles in, Dastfee learns of a plot to overthrow Onnorsos. Dastfee asks Streak to help protect Onnorsos by using his ability to fly higher and faster than all of the other gulls. She entrusts Streak with a mission to determine what the plot involves, so Onnorsos can be warned of the threat. Streak is happy to help. He hopes it will prove his loyalty to the leader and finally enable him to reach his goal of becoming a member of the Onnorsos colony.

Lao Zi (also Lao-Tzu or Lao-Tze) was an ancient Chinese philosopher and writer. His book, Dao De Jing (or Tao Te Ching), has been in circulation for more than 2,500 years. There are many versions and more than one thousand annotations, yet most readers still find it difficult to understand, let alone apply in daily life. Thus Dao De Jing is often misunderstood and regarded as containing mystical teachings disconnected from reality. In Mysteries of Dao De Jing (Tao Te Ching) Revealed, author Dr. Guo Yong Jin dismisses many myths about this great work, including its link to Taoism (a religion founded six hundred years after Lao Zi). Shedding the mystical and surreal, he brings clarity to the teachings by drawing on Lao Zi''s source of inspiration-nature. In this way, Dr. Guo distinguishes his interpretation of Dao De Jing from those before him. The typical interpretation focuses on the semantics of Lao Zi''s written word; Dr. Guo, however, returns to the roots of Dao De Jing, using simple observations of nature to clarify the text. Dao De Jing lays bare the truths and realities of life and the universe. It explains the origins of life and the principles upon which the universe operates. Though much of Dao De Jing is mirrored in science and psychology, the ancient text offers an even deeper understanding. It is neither superstitious nor religious, nor is it a personal philosophy. Dao De Jing is simply wisdom in its essence.

  • - Wurruwarrin Philosophy-Ngarrindjeri (Knowing and Believing)
    av Sandy Ross
    159,-

My book is meant to show the holistic intelligence of our traditional people. Surviving for over sixty thousand years meant the whole brain had to be utilized. The education I received left me stifled as my emotional intelligence was more in need of attention than my IQ, which was ordinary. I found the need to challenge that which was lacking in my schooling years and be passionate about change after revisiting education in the areas that I found interesting while learning as a mature-age student.

    av John Kordupel
    249,99

How deep does the Second Creation go? The Second Coming and I:A Reading for Leanne Long seeks to answer this question.Book 1 seeks to prove reincarnation and in doing so, reveal the Second Creation. It translates alphabetical names into numerical names, permitting us to determine whether there is a nonrandom energy between different people. The greater the degree of nonrandomness, the greater the probability that one is a reincarnation of the other. It also demonstrates that our reincarnation history takes us back to the first medicine wheel, Sirius (Lemuria), home to Adam, who subsequently manifests as Jesus. Finally, author John Kordupel addresses the question of how one cures an illness that had its genesis in a previous lifetime, arising from negative energy built up over a lifetime and continuing through death. Kordupel sought out energy healer Leanne Long in an attempt to dissipate the negative energies influencing his own life, and now he shares his discoveries with the world. This study, the first volume in a series, explores a wide range of topics relating to spirituality and energies that shift among people and across lives.
