This series of Books are entries from Journals and Memories of my Life over the years. The first time that I wrote my thoughts down on paper was in 1986, after being admitted into the psychiatric unit at Fort Hamilton Hospital after I attempted suicide. Time and Time again I found myself in situations that only my faith in God could help me helped me out of. Picking up where I ended my first book, Shadows Standing Over Me The Trials And Tribulations Of A Ghetto Child.

On a very hot August afternoon in 2016, family members gathered to dedicate a monument to Peter J. Christofferson and his two wives. The Sons of the Utah Pioneers and the Christofferson descendants erected the monument to celebrate the contributions of these Utah pioneers. Elder D. Todd Christofferson, an apostle in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and a great-grandson of Peter Christofferson offered the dedicatory prayer. When "Amen" was pronounced a soft cool breeze not only refreshed the gathering but seemed to signify that the monument was accepted by those deceased honorees. There are also other family sites nearby to visit.

Where is this church of power that we see in the Book of Acts? Where are the local bodies of believers that manifest the supernatural power of God today? Learning to Drown shares the author's experiences as a six-year old in eastern Oregon in 1948. The author's father, trained as an engineer, decided to become a farmer. Her mother, with a college degree in Latin, kept everything together-food, duties, fun, music, and love-in an old farmhouse that had no running water, no electricity, no telephone, and no indoor toilet.

Contained within these pages are the true-life stories of an African American family conditioned by racism, but inspired by love, heartbreak, courage and resilience, told through the eyes of a daughter. There are extraordinary narratives about ordinary, and some not so ordinary people, that you may not have ever heard. If these stories were accessible to you, wouldn't you want to hear them? I am the descendent of African Slaves from South Carolina, but eminence before that. This information was not included in my educational curriculum growing up in the United States, I had to find it out for myself. In a quest for additional knowledge and understanding, thereof. I have journeyed back to Africa, traveled abroad to Europe, visited California, Mexico, and several Caribbean Islands including but not limited to Barbados and Puerto Rico. What I found was Myself. These stories emerge and continue to influence my world view, unknowingly to many, an original view. As a former English Professor, and writer, it is my mission to recount such stories adding splendor and authenticity to the fabric of world history.

A fire on the north shore of the lake, a burned male corpse found in that fire and a third murder--a well-known female who recently dyed her hair fiery red--is linked to the previous two 'red' deaths. Chief Rogers is unable to solve either case. This book is specifically about two of my children, Autumn Claire (Claybrook) Kriofske, Seattle; (Autumn in the book) and, Don Claybrook, Jr., Stallion Springs, California (Donny in the book), where he lives with my daughter-in-law, his wife, Becky. In addition to these two, the book is dedicated to all four of my children. That also includes Landa Patrice (Claybrook) Boutte, Corpus Christi, Texas, where she lives with my grandson, Jimmy John Bowman, and Liberty Jackson Claybrook-Reyes, aka, "Jack," who lives in Kerrville Texas with my son-in-law, her husband, Michael Reyes.

Waiting for the Muse: Poems of Anna Akhmatova presents new translations of the work of this great Russian poet, set in the context of her life. Akhmatova saw the source of her creativity as the appearance to her of the Muse, the embodiment of poetic inspiration. In the poems written over her lifetime, from the early love lyrics to poems of resistance during the Stalinist Terror to poems of remembrance as her life neared its end, her conception of the Muse changed with the circumstances of her life. The Muse first appeared as an unpredictable young woman, then the classical figure of Erato, then a woman who stood beside her in the prison lines, then a cruel taskmaster. Akhmatova herself became the Muse for other Russian poets. Ultimately, Akhmatova concluded that the Muse may have been the torment she had been forced to suffer.
