This book is about my personal journey throughout life. It tells the story of all the people that have touched me emotionally. Although names will not be used, the people who played an active part in the remaking of my character will know who they are. This book also speaks of many untold feeling that I held inside but never knew how to voice them outwardly. When the pains of life are just too great, when I cannot seem to see the light of day the words of faith, love, hope, and trust seem to explode forward from the very depths of my soul onto paper. The road to becoming a poet has been a long one for me the bizarre part is that I have not come to the end what this means is there is room for me to grow. My life has been full of hardships but I would not change anything that has happened because I have come to see that everyone blow I took to my ego, or anytime I was knocked down and got back up, only pushed me one-step closer to the person I have now become. ~the prolific penman
At the end of a cold winter in New York City, Christine Howth, a free- lance journalist, mourns the recent death of her father while mulling over the first year of her divorce. She decides it is time to halt her drift. A first step is to begin a journal, to focus her writing and experiment with styles for a story. A second step is to find a full-time job, as her work is not paying the rent.A friend informs her of a staff job at a magazine; a former flame suggests she interview movie director David Loomis. The normally private Loomis agrees to a series of interviews and observations. But unexpectedly he unloads a personal secret, one that may jeopardize the film. He requests that she inform no one, and while she readily agrees, she discovers deep into the assignment that her editor has other priorities.Loomis's struggle to complete the film, and hers to write about it draw them together. His passion for directing stimulates her own efforts to write. Their shared interests and sensibilities bring new energy to both. The filming takes her to the Adirondacks; her new staff job sends her to Paris; the cabin her father loved calls her up to Maine. Each trip stirs her and helps solidify her new perspective. But pressures arising from Loomis's situation lead to conflict with her editor and separation from him.
What I personally experienced and saw was not an illusion, mental aberration, nor the unfounded ramblings of a stroke victim --of which I am one. In a way, I actually died along with my wife, Gracie, on that fateful night of April 14, 2023, Later, I will more fully explain.
This plethora of poems intends to challenge one's spiritual, conceptual and ideologic beliefs, might I add, not to destroy or compete against said mentioned beliefs but more-so add a point of contextual reference for one's perceived actions. The beneficiary, be it positive or a negative result, can take away that they have in fact opened their mind to classical philosophical challenges and their indictments on their personage, may it be subconscious or vice versa. I write these poems as a release of the constant stream of questions that I myself, as a challenged individual with diagnoses of ASD, ADD, and Schizophrenia, have came to contemplate and figuratively to my own personage found my answers. Always looking to that which can be contemporary allows my thoughts to be incohesive and he thoughts on these writings below feel as though they are sharable.Of course, there lies doubt and worry in case it is not received as perplexingly intended but I believe that is the beauty of the texts below.

It is a mercy Difference. It was what gives you better than what you deserve, It was supersedes your mistakes, bad choies, failures, age and all kinds of chortcomings and imperfections. The mercy of God is what makes a distinction between you and all those who seem to be better than you. Mercy gives the upper hand. And the best part about this mercy is "You just have to believe" that God will give it to you regardless of your religion or your other beliefs. You don't have to earn the mercy of God. Just come as You Are. Keep in mind "It is a mercy difference".

Each expression still "echoes" from deep within me as they breach the ears of others.May they challenge and enlighten the eyes and ears of your heart and mind as they reverberate within you!
