This was no dainty, cottony cloud that I'd enjoyed watching as I lay in the grass staring up at the sky. This was ugly and evil, and it sent a shiver up my spine. For fourteen-year-old Claire McKay, the last two years have been a constant struggle for her and her family as they continue to build a life on the unforgiving prairie. But it was not all hard work. There was also school, friends, picnics, a new horse . . . and Caleb.Based on true events, Beyond the Prairie Sunset picks up two years after Miller's debut novel, Beneath a Prairie Sky. The story vividly recounts the challenges faced by those brave pioneers as they tamed wild Nebraska prairie and made a life for themselves.

InkStains is a random collection of stories - fiction and nonfiction of any genre - handwritten daily over the course of a year. When John Urbancik started this project, he aimed to write a story every day for a year. By hand. The stories in this second series were written in 2015 with various fountain pens in a selection of Leuchtturn1917 notepads. He took one mandatory day off monthly. Stories did not have to be fiction. Nonfiction, essays, reviews, memoirs - all genres - everything was open, so long as they were complete. These are the results: failures and successes both. Everything is included. He cleaned up grammar and spelling; he did my best to strengthen the writing where it was weak. The author is very happy with a lot of the stories, and disappointed with others, but some are fantastic. (I'm biased. You decide.)

When you're young you have little to worry about. You certainly don't worry about death. And then Nick met a hitman. The hitman had ethics, he said. No women, no children. When Nick told his friends what had happened, they laughed. Nick laughed, too. Of course, it was mad. The hitman was just a lonely nutter, the type you sometimes met out on the road, the type who told tall tales. They all forgot about the hitman. Instead they worried about themselves. Nick wondered when he could get out of town, Mark obsessed about Chrissie, and Simon missing Anna, found Jill. Gaz continued stealing things. When Molly breezed into town, and said she was a spy, they thought she was as mad as the hitman. She was looking for her sister, she said, and for a man she always called Archie even though she hated him. Then Nick saw the car that had picked him up. The nutter's car, the hitman's car. Intrigued, he and Mark followed it. They were blithely riding into dangers they couldn't comprehend. After all, the hitman's ethics didn't cover Nick.

In 'Prayer, God's Answer', prayer is revealed as a gift from God intended to help us in our quest for more of Him. However, because of our focus on the answers to our prayers, we often miss out on how God uses prayer in our quest. It is in the pursuit of God, and not necessarily the answers to our prayer, that He uses to change our life. Our lives are changed and our image becomes more His image of us when we allow His Holy Spirit to work in our heart. This can only happen because of the love found in Jesus Christ. There are many outstanding religious literary works that expand upon the Holy Scriptures and give insight into prayer. Great works have attempted to answer difficult and rudimentary questions such as: -What is prayer?-Is there a right way to pray?-How can I ensure my prayers are answered? -Who do we pray to and why?Unfortunately, there are few literary resources that take the reader by the hand and, by walking through the Holy Scriptures, practically teach why and how to pray. This text is not a cookbook of recipes and formulations that passively feeds the reader, like a mother feeds her toddler a cookie drenched in milk. This is a guide designed to cause the reader to actively and fervently seek out the Living God through a series of questions. These questions, specifically inspired by the Holy Spirit, are intended to challenge the reader through prayer to digest the spiritual meat within the Holy Scriptures. It is this author's prayer that the reader will unlock the power of prayer and, in doing so, grow closer to Christ, know who they truly are in Christ, and have purposeful life more abundantly. In 'Prayer, God's Answer' the fundamentals of prayer quickly lead the reader to wonderful crescendos of revelation. The reader's focus begins to shift from the near-sightedness of simply having prayers answered. Soon, the reader understands that prayer is a gift from God. The ultimate purpose of prayer is to bring one to a place where the Holy Spirit transforms them for God's glory as they become more like Jesus. The mystery of how this happens through God's love is appreciated in Prayer, God's Answer.

This book follows another book I wrote on God and our human consciousness titled, The Evolution of Good and Evil. In that book, I establish that the Holy Trinity, as defined by Jesus and the Old Testament prophets, is the whole of the human mind. In this book, I seek to show how this central theme of the Bible was corrupted to make way for the creation of a new religion called Christianity. The Apostle Peter and the saint named Paul broke the cohesiveness between the Old Testament and Jesus and not in the good way that is often labeled as the New Covenant. They destroyed eons of knowledge about the human mind and human nature contained in the Bible, which Jesus was clarifying for us so that we could apply it in a very tangible way to our own thinking and behavior. It was the Apostle Peter who conjured up the notion of a holy Spirit that is separate and apart from our own human spirit of life which Jesus referred to as the kingdom of heaven within, but it was Paul who ran with it to attract Gentiles to his churches. (Luke 17:21) Peter and Paul could not have spread their holy Spirit form of religion if they had not changed people's perceptions of what both Jesus and the prophets taught. This book shows how the men who were made saints by the Christian church used the ego-conscious strategies of Adam and Eve in the Garden to sell a mythology of an external spirit who invades our bodies with a simple declaration that we believe in Jesus. It was the mythology of Peter and Paul, along with Paul's list of dos and don'ts, that made me leave the church of my youth once I was out of high school and it was the real Jesus whose legacy and teachings they destroyed in favor of building their churches that brought me to the truth of myself when I was a woman in my fifties. Knowing the truth saved me. Truth is everyone's salvation because it brings us home to reality through the fog of lies, false assumptions, beliefs and doctrines foisted upon us by people just like Peter and Paul. Truth is not the enemy. It is the answer. The process of understanding Peter and Paul was similar to the process of understanding the true nature of good and evil that I underwent while writing The Evolution of Good and Evil. I have found that the process of approaching the Bible with a realistic view of human nature makes everything clear in terms of its message. Once I began interpreting the Bible in terms of our human mind which Genesis 1:26 says is made in the image of God, it was like untangling a huge ball of knotted twine. All the stories and characters came together in a cohesive narrative which describes the nature of our human consciousness and the relationship between our thinking and our behavior. We do not need religious teachers directing us to an external god in three forms that has never existed. We need psychiatrists and psychologists to give us the framework that is sorely lacking in studying a book whose sole focus is the human mind. When Peter and Paul separated spirit from the human being and made it into something we can choose to accept or reject for purposes of our eternal salvation, they replaced reality with fantasy. They steered their followers in the wrong direction while telling them they were saving them. Simply stated, Paul's letters take a detour from the truth and to the extent that Christianity has adopted his doctrine, it too has taken a detour from the truth. Of course, it goes without saying that my interpretation of Paul's writings conform to a world view I have formed based on what I believe the Bible teaches us about our human nature of good and evil. Although I believe my world view conforms to the true teachings of the prophets and Jesus, it is up to the readers of this book to decide for themselves what world view they choose to hold.

Can't leave the house because of the Coronavirus? Kick his ass and discover the artist in yourself (Lech). Book preview: ► Click on the name Lech Balcerzak (above) and go to Author Page. See videos (1) and (2) with examples of high quality images illustrated with beautiful music by the same author. Plus the step by step coloring instructions. Enjoy the summer of twelve months of the year, while coloring the 70 stunning grayscale photographs. This updated book includes pictures from Volume 1 and Volume 2 + new Coloring Guide (March 23, 2020). Every picture is composed to capture details that usually are not seen by an ordinary observer and transformed from color to grayscale using highly sophisticated methods invented by the artist Lech Balcerzak to achieve the best coloring results. Images are printed on one side on pure white paper weighing 55 pounds. In addition, all photographs are printed on the entire page, without margins, making them massively large and easy to color. All photographs are large, bright and easy to color, even for children (but not for little children). Medium: ☺ Markers and Gel - you can use them. They might bleed through the page, but don't worry: images are printed on one side. Use a thick cardboard or bristol and put it under your drawing.☺☺ Colored pencils work very nicely. You'll get the best results using colored pencils instead of markers.☺☺ Acrylic paints can make colors more vivid. You will get a really nice artistic effect using colored pencils and then dense acrylic paints. We also offer different version of these coloring books: with white margins or printed on a smooth paper weighing 60 pounds that offers high contrast, more details and absolute sharpness. With this edition you can use colored pencils and acrylic paints concurrently. From the Author: I prefer colored pencils as the main medium. Then I put some acrylic paints on it. This is the final retouch, which strengthens the colors or changes the photograph into a painting. I also like a Matte Opaque Gel Extender Medium (also called Gelex, made by Liquitex). Sometimes acrylics are too transluent to lighten up dark areas. So you can mix Gelex with your acrylic paints to help make them more opaque. Acrylic paints must be dense, without dilution with water. If you need a bright color, just buy it ready for painting in the store. Too much water can destroy paper or photographs. You can mix acrylic colors, but you can not dilute them with water. Have a nice coloring. A Note about this Double Edition and Self-Luminous Paints: This book includes photographs from the following books: Volume 1: "Next Beautiful Blossoms" and Volume 2: "Flowers" - of series "Simply Coloring By Lech". So If you have no experience with grayscale coloring books and you made a mistake, don't worry: you can improve your works, picture by picture. If you are an advanced colorist you can paint and color using different methods. There are a lot of pictures in this book, so do not hesitate to do experiments with coloring, using other paints, gels, colors, painting techniques and crayons. For example, try using gold paint. There are also silver, metallic or copper paints. There are even paints that glow in the dark - Phosphorescent Paints also called Self-Luminous Paints (not UV paints). These paints generate different colors. Paints that glow in the dark after exposure to artificial light or sunlight. The lighting time depends on the length of exposure and the thickness of the painted layer. You can also combine classic acrylic and phosphorescent inks on a single image. In this way, the image will have two sets of colors: for viewing at night and during the day.

Can you visit other planes and realities? But can you live other lives there, in your other planes and realities? People can always tell beautiful paranormal stories, or who knows, you might have already been there yourself, saw them, felt them, and now this is why you search through all higher knowledge to learn more about your experience. But was it real? Are your other worlds real, as real as this world? All realities are real, in a rather trivial manner. And even more, all realities are objectively real, but only as long as you are there. Since existence defines them similarly, determining closely your continuous firsthand experience. Furthermore, many realities are part of life, part of this life that we have here in this world. And now, if you have found your way into these other planes of existence in a conscious manner, it might have been a natural process altogether, and not exactly a random experience. It had a purpose, while you might have missed fulfilling it, and now it is certainly meaningful to know everything that you can ever discover.Yet if you have never had a paranormal experience yourself, and now you simply wonder what is going, there are very powerful drugs that you take regularly with your food, drinks, drugs, and medicine, meant to hold you forcefully in this world. And now this is exactly what you do, you remain here nicely, for life. And it happens with everybody, or almost, depending on where you live, or depending on your development and genetic background. There is a difference between astral planes, the natural human environment, and your other realities. Because existence comes in three distinct levels, used to distinguish between your higher and lower realities. While you can understand all your realities through your mind, reasoning, awareness, and imagination, since even this world makes sense to you only as part of your reasoning, awareness, mind, and imagination, and not exactly directly, as anyone may expect. And this is the case because there is no other way to experience anything in life and in the wider world, but through your perception, reasoning, and understanding, and through the multitude of your selves, intelligences, and identities present throughout all your realities. And this is why you cannot understand astral planes, along with your other realities, if you do not understand your cognitive system first, along with your intelligences, selves, memories, and expectations, since everything is interconnected. This interesting entanglement of meanings and constraints causes the ultimate truth of your wider existence to remain hidden beneath strong consensual conditions, and within tedious loops of reasoning, remaining inaccessible in this manner to the ignorant and to the unconditional follower of common ideologies, while allowing the truth only to those living life freely, consciously, and in full awareness and understanding of the wider world, through the fulfillment of all natural, higher level needs and meanings. Because these are your developmental opportunities that you experience in each one of your worlds and realities, while following the fulfillment of your natural, intelligent human needs for higher experience and higher development. This book studies you and your life and existence throughout all your realities that you employ, encounter, inhabit, create, and co-create throughout your wider existence, helping you understand who you are through all your selves and intelligences, as you live your life throughout all your worlds and realities. If you seek to gain wider understanding of who you truly are, this book is for you.
