When his elder falls ill during a long winter, Obsidius--a young obsidian golem--ventures into the lands of Penaevea in search of a strange cure known by their kind. As he traverses the various lands, Obsidius discovers many regions are faced with their own circumstances, and he is caught between them and his goal--each passing second will take its toll on Obsidius.
