"True Stories from the Wilds of Alaska" is a collection of stories and experiences this author wrote over a long period of time. They came from my life in Alaska, which spans 40 years, and by far were the best years of my life. I was still fairly young when I arrived and when a part of the old time Alaska was still there but rapidly dying. It will never come back, and I will never experience it again. This book is a compilation of those first-hand accounts of the wild and remote living in Alaska before "modern" lifestyles began to creep in to daily life.
