Hallucination is as relative in the nightmare as it is reciprocal to dreams. So, what is reality? Here's a tale guaranteed to take you places you've never been, and through one hell of an illusion. In 1922 a nightmare of adventure befalls Alex and Noreen Wickle as they unknowingly find themselves within the vortex of a bizarre and inexplicable mission, delegated by a supreme force to Aubrey Fitch. It follows a discovery that the human mind has the power to will monsters, hallucinations, and universal healing when under the influence of a new, dynamic medication. Not since penicillin has mankind procured a miracle drug, yet at that same time there was a far superior panacea already created. Unfortunately, parts of the human brain would lack capacity in tolerating the side-effects until the year 2052, when the cure-all is badly needed. Aubrey, with her husband and chosen emissaries, intend to guide the Cura, a pivotal and epic-making module through time and illusion to reach its final destination in exhuming a nightmare.

A cat is a unique animal, considered domestic, but trying to convince the cat it's domesticated would reveal a different story. This particular novel involves a cat named Mr. Charlie, acknowledged as not just a pet, but a main character and a potential hero as his character bonds wholeheartedly with the tale. The story itself is not important since the tale is total fiction, conjured up from the imagination of a self-proclaimed storyteller and animal lover. Yet, what 'is' important is you, the person reading this novel as you meld with the characters Chip, Tori, Lani, and of course Mr. Charlie, when they secretly unfold a sinister and mysterious campaign by some of the new neighbors, a conjuration known as the Cosmic Diablerie. A host of quite a few other characters, good and evil, along with those mentioned, disinter the testament of a town and the townspeople who encounter unexpected and unexplained revelations regarding the disappearance of neighbors and the physical layout of the borough's street itself. Suspicions rise among neighbors over spruce trees being planted, practiced shamanism and the discovered history that the town block was actually located where an ancient temple used to be. The characters are confronted with the inevitable question of, "Do we really know who our neighbors are?" - as murders and other suspicious events occur and befall individuals within the small hamlet of Springer, PA. The tale's nefarious undertakings and the reevaluating of past relationships and cherished rapports, animal and human alike, leads to an adventure through the depths of the deranged as well as the surreal. Throughout the novel's drama the one constant, the prodigious invariable that's consistently woven throughout the account is the endearing and relentless presence of the cat, Mr. Charlie.

In the spring of 2022 Connie was unexpectedly contacted by his childhood friend, Ernie, on an antique shortwave radio he recently purchased from a strange man outside of a pawn shop. What's even more unusual is that Ernie had been presumed dead 40 years before, back in 1982 when he and his mom were kidnapped, along with a few of their neighbors, believed murdered although their bodies were never found. Connie and Ernie had made a childhood pact that if one of them ever died, they would find a way to contact each other from beyond the veil of death. An unbelievable tale of adventure unfolds as Ernie explains in detail the legend of an ancestral bloodline and a mysterious connection to an artifact, a miniature sculpture of a stone figurine called "Peace." From a boy scout camping trip in the Great Smoky Mountains outside of Restitution, TN to sailing the stormy Pacific islands off the coast of Oregon, Ernie explains what really happened in 1982 and the true criminal entity behind murders that were committed. In the eye of this hurricane of adventure was the legend of the miniature hand carved stone figurine and cryptic ritual known only to the immediate family bloodline as the Restitution in Peace.
