Tuttavia, esistono anche importanti differenze che influenzano in modo significativo la gestione delle fratture facciali. Questo studio analizza il metodo tradizionale di osteosintesi con filo metallico per la gestione delle fratture facio-mascellari.Le lesioni cranio-maxillo-facciali colpiscono una percentuale significativa di pazienti traumatizzati. La gestione dei traumi cranio-maxillo-facciali comprende il trattamento delle fratture delle ossa facciali, dei traumi dento-alveolari e delle lesioni dei tessuti molli, nonché delle lesioni associate, principalmente della testa e del collo.La differenza fondamentale tra fissazione rigida e non rigida si basa sulla mobilità inter-frammentaria. Es gibt jedoch auch wichtige Unterschiede, die die Versorgung von Gesichtsfrakturen erheblich beeinflussen. In dieser Studie wird die traditionelle Drahtosteosynthesemethode zur Versorgung von Frakturen des Oberkiefers und des Gesichts diskutiert.Kranio-maxillofaziale Verletzungen machen einen erheblichen Anteil der Traumapatienten aus.
