Abdus Samad, was born in Nalanda in Bihar on 18th July, 1952. He won Sahitya Akademi Award in 1990 for his Novel "Do Gaz Zameen".His current Novel "Kashkol" is based on beggar's & Labour's life in Covid-19 Period. How they struggle & live their life in such a difficult period. How they survive in Lock down in 2020 & 2021 & how government ignore a large population of Beggars & labours in this country. "System" novel is based on a police officer who is corrupts but his father always reminding him a true path of life.
