The Beast in between your Ears (Farsi) (2023) is a poetry collection written by Salim Ghazi Saeedi. The book comes in three sections of Thesis, Antithesis and Synthesis representing cyclic evolutions during poet's experiences after moving to Melbourne. Going from love-stricken sentimentality to inhabiting with dark forces of loneliness and then wise murmurings. According to the poet, "I don't find any of these states balanced. It is only understanding of this cycle that gives meaning to one's existence". The poetry is partly Farsi versions of the poetry written originally in English in previous books and partly new.

Salim's poetry is mostly abstract/philosophical and sometimes sermon-like. In his words, "I nearly always write poetry only in moments of despair, fear or paralysis. These poems are actually addressed to myself and their goal is self-treatment. If you find me writing poetry you could be sure about two things: I feel very bad and I will get well very soon."
