"Life Scenes for Oboe and Guitar" is a suite in 6 movements. Composed in 2001. This suite was premiered in 2003 at Middle Tennessee State University with oboist Dwayne Pigg and Roger Hudson performing on guitar. The piece was also performed via live radio on WPLN Nashville's "Live in Studio C" program. The difficulty level is moderate. The movements are relatively short and in a predominantly modal style. The movements' titles are derived from impressions by the composer after the music was composed.
