Diese Untersuchung soll einen Beitrag zur Debatte über die Kulturpolitik leisten, die unser Land in gefährdeten Kontexten braucht. Zu diesem Zweck wird sie sich auf die Praktiken und Überlegungen konzentrieren, die im Zusammenhang mit dem Gemeinschaftsleben im Viertel Boca Sur in der Gemeinde San Pedro de la Paz, Chile, bestehen. Dies ist einer der ärmsten Sektoren der Provinz Concepción. Es entstand während der Diktatur und wurde zum Symbol für die damalige Politik der räumlichen Segregation nach Klassen: Entvölkerung der Städte und Beseitigung der Armut in den städtischen Zentren. Die Forschung will insbesondere die kulturellen Diskurse und Praktiken untersuchen, die sich auf unterschiedliche Weise und in unterschiedlichen Formen in diesem Gebiet manifestieren, und dabei untersuchen, welche Art von Kollektivierung sie entwickeln und wie sie jeweils den Staat herausfordern. In diesem Sinne werden die lateinamerikanischen Erfahrungen der verschiedenen städtischen Peripherien in allgemeiner Form untersucht, und es wird ein Dialog über die Orte der Erinnerung und der Bewahrung des kulturellen Erbes geführt, der für die beschriebenen Kontexte relevant sein sollte.

Esta investigação tem como objetivo contribuir para o debate sobre a política cultural de que o nosso país necessita em contextos vulneráveis. Para o efeito, centrar-se-á nas práticas e reflexões que existem em torno da vida comunitária no bairro de Boca Sur, na comuna de San Pedro de la Paz, Chile. Um dos sectores mais empobrecidos da província de Concepción. Formado durante a ditadura, tornou-se o emblema das políticas de segregação espacial baseadas na classe da época: descongestionar as cidades e eliminar a pobreza dos centros urbanos. Em particular, a investigação propõe-se aprofundar os discursos e práticas culturais que se manifestam de diferentes maneiras e formas neste território, estudando que tipo de coletivização desenvolvem e como cada uma delas desafia o Estado. De acordo com o acima exposto, a experiência latino-americana das diferentes periferias urbanas será revista em termos gerais, e será estabelecido um diálogo em torno dos lugares de memória e preservação do património que devem ser relevantes para os contextos descritos.

This research aims to contribute to the debate on the cultural policy that our country needs in vulnerable contexts. To this end, it will focus on the practices and reflections that exist around community life in the Boca Sur neighbourhood, in the commune of San Pedro de la Paz, Chile. One of the most impoverished sectors of the Province of Concepción. Formed during the dictatorship, it became the emblem of the class-based spatial segregation policies of the time: decongesting cities and eliminating poverty from urban centres. In particular, the research proposes to delve into the cultural discourses and practices that are manifested in different ways and forms in this territory, studying what kind of collectivisation they develop and how each of them challenges the state. In accordance with the above, the Latin American experience of the different urban peripheries will be reviewed in general terms, and a dialogue will be established around the places of memory and heritage preservation that should be relevant to the contexts described.

Questa ricerca intende contribuire al dibattito sulla politica culturale di cui il nostro Paese ha bisogno in contesti vulnerabili. A tal fine, si concentrerà sulle pratiche e le riflessioni che esistono intorno alla vita comunitaria nel quartiere di Boca Sur, nel comune di San Pedro de la Paz, in Cile. Uno dei settori più impoveriti della Provincia di Concepción. Formatosi durante la dittatura, è diventato l'emblema delle politiche di segregazione spaziale di classe dell'epoca: decongestionare le città ed eliminare la povertà dai centri urbani. In particolare, la ricerca si propone di approfondire i discorsi e le pratiche culturali che si manifestano in modi e forme diverse in questo territorio, studiando il tipo di collettivizzazione che sviluppano e il modo in cui ciascuno di essi sfida lo Stato. In base a quanto detto, si passerà in rassegna l'esperienza latinoamericana delle diverse periferie urbane in termini generali e si stabilirà un dialogo intorno ai luoghi della memoria e della conservazione del patrimonio che dovrebbero essere rilevanti per i contesti descritti.
