Before I was diagnosed with bipolar mental illness in 1997, I had an active social life as a college music teacher at Mohawk College in Hamilton, and a fan following of my solo music concert tours. I also achieved 10 years of educations concluding with my master's of World Arts from York University. After my diagnosis, my social networks fell away due to stigma. During my lonely years, I began to write. This book is a collection of non-fiction and articles all written on the quality of life I have experienced while living with bipolar. I write to educate the public on a very controversial topic, which has taken a great deal of courage on my part. If you have the heart to stomach my stories, please share my knowledge.
As a child prodigy, I composed classical piano pieces on my Gourlay Hamilton upright baby grand. In my young adult life, I studied music at Mohawk College, receiving my diploma in 1990; and I continued my studies in music at York University, receiving my undergrad in 1994. Both institutions accepted me due to the compositions I had done in my youth. These 10 pieces in the book are both fun to read and play. You can hear my recordings of them on my YouTube Channelwww.youtube.com/channel/UCEq-PtJJZ1Ong0oMukR58VA
