For this Flexi cover design, we have incorporated a textured white design reminiscent of chalk, flint or limestone, adding an edginess to the look of finely wrought leather.

Our Dreamscapes Flexi softcover notebook, recreating a 2011 piece of art by Catrin Welz-Stein, suggests the eruption of creativity that happens when we find ourselves in that liminal place between waking and dreaming. This work arrests the eye while representing the uncontrollable and barely knowable nature of creativity in its purest form.

Eric Comstock's retro sensibilities and diverse inspirations give his work a distinct and sought-after look. He takes his inspiration from everything from his own child's drawings to his collection of jazz albums. His original work, Triangle Man, has been reproduced for our Hound Dog Flexi notebook cover design.

Our Dumas' 150th Anniversary Special Edition journal celebrates the great lion of French literature, Alexandre Dumas (1802-1870). The front cover features a handwritten draft of The Count of Monte Cristo and the back cover shows an illustration of the prison where the Count was jailed. Today, Dumas remains among the world's most widely read authors.

Our Golden Trefoil design is inspired by a 16th-century French binding that originally housed a printing of the Opera Omnia of Giovanni Pontano (1426-1503). The design, thought to be created by Claude de Picques, features a classic trefoil (clover) motif, popularly found in some of the world's most iconic logos, crests, insignias and flags.

Our Blue Velvet journal design is inspired by a piece of a 15th-century velvet dalmatic. It is decorated in brocaded gilt metal thread with a seven-lobed shield, an artichoke-like botanical shape and tiny floral patterns. Creating a velvet design such as this would have been a painstaking procedure, making this a luxury fabric during the Renaissance.

Our Agra journal cover is named for Agra, India, where the Taj Mahal is located. It reproduces a photograph by Gerard Degeorge of one of the Taj Mahal's iconic marble flowers. To carve into marble is to commit to perfection. Any mistake meant the whole slab had to be discarded. Each of these marbled flowers is its own masterwork.

Our Arabic Artistry journal cover design dates to the 17th century, when luxurious Arabic court life helped to inspire a supremely refined design aesthetic. The original binding our Zahra book cover reproduces is emblematic of an era when books were major investments, used as valuable donations, treasured gifts to heads of state and status symbols.

Nikola Tesla was a Serbian-American inventor, physicist, futurist and engineer. This journal features a sketch of his turbine research, reproducing a document held in the Nikola Tesla Museum in Belgrade. Today, Tesla's legacy endures mostly notably in Tesla, Inc., which specializes in electric vehicles, solar panels and lithium-ion batteries.

The banned play Sir Thomas More (1595) was written and revised by five different playwrights, of whom scholars now believe Shakespeare to be one.
