Ish 61: 1-3, "The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me (YOU), Because the LORD has anointed me(YOU) to bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind-up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to captives, and freedom to prisoner; to proclaim the favorable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn, to grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified. Verse 7: Instead of your shame you will have a double portion. Verse 11: So the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all the nations. By trusting in the Lord and His promises you are no longer a slave to this world's way of thinking. Through His presence and the washing of the Word of God you become transformed. Now as a guiding light, you 'spring up' touching the world as you are filled with His glorious presence. You influence those around you bringing hope and love through miracles, signs and wonders. And perhaps the greatest of these, is the miracle, of your life's journey with a loving Captain.
