This book tells about Henry Baxter, a boy who had different ideas. One day in class while the other children were painting houses, flowers, and jet airplanes, Henry painted a blue horse. "A blue horse!" thought Miss Allen, his teacher. "A blue horse!" said the children. "Who ever saw a horse like that?" "Is there something wrong with Henry?" asked Mr. Stanley, the principal. All kinds of people asked him questions. But Henry went right on painting horses that were green, purple, and sometimes even with stripes or polka dots. Everyone thought Henry was terribly mistaken about color. Was he? There is lots to laugh and think about in this story of Henry Baxter and his horses of different colors.
