Throughout our lives, we experience two types of relationships.The "moments" and the "lifetimes." The ones who are moments are meant to teach us about strength and heartbreak. They are meant to give us perspective into what our souls really need in a partner. They break you down, but only temporarily until you realize the why behind them coming into your life, even if just for a short period of time. The ones who are a lifetime are special. These are the relationships that stick with you forever. Whether it works out or not, these are the people who stay in your life because the universe has put them there for a reason. They are the ones whose impact on you will last a lifetime. This collection of poetry is a tribute to the "moments" and "lifetimes" I have encountered over the last few years of my life.
