Homegrown Sickness is a collection of monostich poetry. It is about conflicting thoughts about living in a small town that now seems to be booming with infrastructure and people and the desperation of wanting to get out and explore the rest of the world. This is one giant love letter to Madeline's younger self and spending the last decade learning and growing as a young adult.

Mad Men and Marigolds is Madeline's second micro collection of prose poetry. The collection is about relationships with male figures in her life. While the collection takes inspiration from her life, the poems are fictionalised. The poems explore themes of regret, sadness, love and sacrifice.

In a new revised and expanded edition for its first anniversary, Day Drinking and Daffodils explores themes such as heartbreak, toxicity, grief, loss, love, femininity, acceptance and growth. This is the second edition of Madelines first collection of prose and poetry.
