  • - A story of everlasting love and evidence of life after death
    av Kerry Alderuccio

Kerry Alderuccio bravely shares her life story and that of her family''s, as she begins with her own childhood and the loss of her much loved father, Jim Bell, in a work place accident when Kerry was eighteen years of age. Jim was attempting to save the life of one of his workmen... tragically both perished.        In her early fifties, a dream-time premonition warned Kerry of another impending disaster that would unfold on 3 May, 2012, thirty-four years, exactly to the day since her own father''s untimely death.        Kerry''s premonition became her reality and again, the police came to tell her of yet another tragic accidental passing, this time it was her adored nineteen-year-old son, Sam, in a shocking car crash.        Throughout her life, Kerry had always been aware of changes in the energy around her; as her loved ones gradually passed away, she always remained aware of their presence. She had naively assumed that everyone felt such things and Kerry then realised an instinct she''d always had might be something more profound.        It was after Sam''s untimely passing that Kerry decided to act on this instinct and look for answers as to where Sam had ''gone'', and how contact could be made. Kerry and her husband, Sergio, visited a medium for the first time and as hoped, Sam, Kerry''s father and Sergio''s mother were all present to communicate from the spirit world.        The reading opened up a world of possibilities for Kerry and after joining a spiritual development circle in her hometown of Melbourne, Kerry later began her mediumship studies at the prestigious Arthur Findlay College in the United Kingdom, where her latent mediumship abilities were confirmed.        Sam found his own unique ways to let his ongoing presence be known, particularly to Kerry, and the twists and turns of how this takes place are quite extraordinary.        This is Kerry''s first book and is the result of her desire to share her amazing story, her moment of truth and her hope that others may find answers and peace in her words.

  • - what makes a medium?

In 2012, Kerry Alderuccio lost her 19-year-old son, Sam, in a tragic car accident. Kerry''s understanding of death differed completely to what most people believed, she had within her an innate knowing that death meant ''life after life'', and that was where her interest lay. Until that moment, she''d been oblivious to the world of mediums, psychics, and healers. Kerry couldn''t accept that death was the final act of life and six weeks after Sam''s passing, she saw a medium for the first time. As she''d hoped, Sam was there to communicate with his parents, and a whole new world opened up for Kerry.  On a quest to learn more about mediumship, Kerry joined a spiritual development circle in her hometown of Melbourne, where previously unknown possibilities became apparent. Aged in her mid-fifties, Kerry discovered her own latent mediumistic abilities, which took her to the United Kingdom where she began studying mediumship at the world-renowned Arthur Findlay College. This personal discovery made Kerry question why mediumship was universally misunderstood and its healing powers often overlooked. An unexplained mystery surrounded the practice of mediumship and Kerry wanted to explore the misconceptions and fallacies associated with it. To answer this question, Kerry reached out to seventeen respected mediums from different countries, ages, and backgrounds to share their own unique stories of how their mediumship journeys unfolded.  All were known to Kerry personally, but their life stories were not. Many practiced their mediumship full-time and taught these age-old forms of spirit communication world-wide as professional tutors, speakers and practitioners, and others choose to use their unique gift in more main stream business practices. Demystifying Mediumship is the product of those conversations. It details powerful stories of personal loss, pain, sexuality, alcoholism, religion and escape, as well as love and hope. It sensitively tells their stories and the catalyst that led each of them to discovering their gift. The many challenges that each emerging medium faced, were as varied as their pathways in life. The brutal honesty and heart-warming stories of healing and hope are intertwined in each anecdote.  Kerry explains mediumship as a practice in plain and simple language, helping readers to understand this ancient form of communication with the spirit world. Importantly, Kerry leaves the reader to consider the ''what ifs'' of the continuation of life after a physical death takes place, but in no way asserts that her beliefs should be everyone''s. Demystifying Mediumship seeks to explore a topic that is too often shrouded in scepticism and misunderstanding, and leaves you in awe of what is truly possible.
