It is then that they learn of Krampus, a Christmas demon who preys on the naughtiness of children. Now, they must do everything to protect Hannah from Krampus and the sinister town of Gumdrop Hollow.

Lovers before their death, they wonder who could have possibly killed them in the small city of Vik, Iceland. While Jewel yearns for answers, Cole preoccupies herself with keeping Jewel close. Out of nowhere, Cole begins to act out towards the living and cause them pain in ways that shock Jewel. As Jewel begins to pull away from Cole, Cole's sense of urgency to keep Jewel in the dark of what happened the day they died increases. The arrival of Hel, the Goddess of Death, only complicates things for the twosome. If there's one thing Cole is sure of, she will never let Jewel go... even in death.
