I am Joe Lyon and this is my book "Poetry is Cool". It took me 34 years to write what is contained within these 140 or so pages. The following are just some of my musings and writings, just a fraction of them really, sketched down since 1979 throughout most of my life. They cover a wide range of topics, but mostly about living life, growing older and wiser, and looking back over the landscapes of my life both real and imaginary...for reasons unknown at the time.
