The story, although fictional and entertaining for children, is based on the true story of the lost owl found in the Rockefeller Christmas Tree during 2020.

Two little pups are jumping around in the backyard when suddenly a truck pulls in the neighbor's driveway. They are not just getting new neighbors, but two girl pups to play with. The neighbors also have an unusual pet. Their pet gets lost. Then their pet has so many babies, it's hard to even count how many there are. Jessie and Deanna find a turtle. And Gordon, the cat, is missing. Jessie takes the newly found turtle to school for daughter, Jennie Lynn's Show and Tell. Jennie Lynn and her brothers later discover the turtle is presumed missing after they find a poster on a telephone pole. They return the turtle. Brandyn and his parents go on a little trip. He gets to go visit museum. It's not so boring. There is a black safe there. It used to belong to his mom's family a long time ago. Brandyn then goes on his first train ride. He sees his grandparents, goes over a covered bridge, and sees a deer and a stagecoach. He falls asleep on the train. Going to Aunt Jessie's House is going to be Jessiey's first self-published children's book. She believes there is a great need for more interesting books to read to young children. She hopes to provide interesting story time to the greats in her family such as great-nieces and great-nephews and other young children. "Parents, please keep reading to your kids," she suggests.
