Through the valley of depression, Jenelle and her family look cancer in the eye, face death on a personal and intimate level, experience horrific natural disasters, all while navigating the global pandemic. Jenelle journals her way through those two years. In 2020, she had a baby, her husband faces gruelling chemotherapy and radiation, and she adapts to single parenting at home as he becomes hospitalized. With the restrictions of the pandemic, Jenelle feels more alone than ever. Into 2021, Jenelle and her family come to terms with suddenly losing her father-in-law, her children each face unique but challenging health issues, her closest support system moves away, she travels through a rare and deadly natural disaster, and her own mental health challenges her in ways she never expected. Through it all, Jenelle not only finds faith but holds onto it though the hardships. She finds a way to implement self-care in ways she never thought possible. Losing 80 pounds, she gains the confidence she needs and finds a way to expand it outward through ministry.
