Alan Beauchemin spent thirty three years working as an Ambulance Technician, first starting in the 1960s, when Ambulance Men were just emergency transporters of the sick and injured. His stories are gathered here for the first time, some of which are amusing and some of which are painfully sad. In his career, he attended to elderly people forgotten in crumbling homes, the arrival of new born babies, motor vehicle accidents, work based incidents and even suicides. So many of these stories stayed with him for the rest of his life, until he passed away in 2010.
