Your student teacher does not need, nor should you, take over your classroom. We anticipate that you will collaborate well with one another to provide your students with opportunity for individualized attention as well as rich education. The pupils gain the most when the relationship between the mentor teacher and the student teacher is successful.You will undoubtedly remember that there is exhilaration as well as fear during this student teaching experience. We want you to guide and assist your student instructors in addition to providing them with instruction. In close collaboration with university coaches, mentor teachers assist student teachers in setting short- and long-term objectives, evaluating what works and what doesn't, and gaining the ability to reflect on and learn from experience.
