In this second book in the King and His Belly Button series, readers are introduced to Oranda the Witch.Oranda lives on the very scary Witch Island that is located across the sea from the Island Kingdom.She likes to visit the King often and they have very nice conversations.Sometimes.Oranda is also a part-time pirate. She can appear very friendly and charming and maybe she really is, but her goal is the steal all the gold, silver and pearls from the King.The King knows this, but he likes Oranda anyway. He doesn't believe she would actually steal anything. The fact that the King likes Oranda makes the Kings' belly button very nervous. The button does not trust Oranda and vows to protect the King from her.

A word about the belly buttons on this Island Kingdom. The people living here like to dress as if they live in 17th century England. Nobody ever asked them why they dress like that.These otherwise modern people have cell phones and watch movies online and have many restaurants that deliver.That is very 21st century, right?They also are the only people whose belly buttons can jump off their bellies when the need to. This began when the King of this Island Kingdom ate so much junk food, it caused his very own belly button to feel sick.As you will see, the belly buttons can get angry, happy, sad, and can even laugh.All of them have a sense of humor and can talk.Also, once they decide to jump off a belly, they get to stretch out and appear much larger. The buttons can be your friend, and get you out of trouble, as the King soon learns.
