This book is a sequel to the book "The Bible Promises of Healing, 16 Letters for Mom." (Available on Amazon in English and Spanish and in English on Audible) I highly recommend that you read Vol I in the series before advancing to Vol II. In this book, I focus on things I did not include in the previous volume or touched upon lightly. God's promises and His will for our healing are so extensive that it is hard to capture in one book all of the places in Scripture where He shares them. This volume and the first are great gifts for anyone searching for Scriptures and Bible promises related to healing, especially if they are trying to overcome illness.

For about 40 years I have been listening to my dad's "stories." I have many of them memorized. My siblings and I joke with each other about our favorite stories. I believe that I have part of my inspiration to become a writer came in part from my dad. I have been urging him for decades to write his stories down and to put them in a book. In 2007 I asked my dad just send me what you have. He sent me a small collection of stories, but it didn't even scratch the surface of the stories he has in his collection. I had given up on him writing a book and just wanted the stories to preserve his legacy with my children. Well, on Father's Day 2017 I started compiling the stories that he'd sent in a book. I have waited until now, December 18, 2017, for my dad to give me the last of his stories. I decided for his Christmas present to just take what I had and publish it!

Letters to Build a Young Man's Confidence are actual letters written to a young man to inspire him to seek his confidence in God. These letters encourage the young man to reject secular definitions of confidence, like self-confidence, bravado, moxie in favor of a total reliance upon God and His strength. The letters are full of Scriptures related to confidence.

This book is a compilation of my dad's poetry, intimate writings about love, humorous stories, and just snippets from his everyday life. It is my gift to him for his upcoming 82nd birthday. It is also a gift to my children/grandchildren, my sisters, their children/grandchildren, and to all of his nieces, nephews, and their children. My hope is to capture these snapshots, these insights into the man that man my dad has been and preserve them as part of his enduring legacy.
