Dear reader-user, We are grateful to "Al mighty ALLAH" who gave us all the strength, courage, Preservation and patience to finish this book. We also thankful to our parents and teachers who support us for completing this work. This book is designed to provide guidance on the development and/or review of an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) case for use in the nursing schools performance-based examinations. Our hope is that this book will better prepare our content experts to develop cases that lead to a fair and valid assessment of candidates¿ abilities. Although case-writing is an iterative process which requires several rounds of review and revision, we have divided the process of OSCE case development into eight steps intended to be performed sequentially. This book is intended to provide a comprehensive review of all issues re¬lated to the development and administration of an OSCE. There are many challenges ensuring the right standards of care given by our undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students. In this respect the authors would like to acknowledge the enormously important roles that all our professional colleagues contribute with.
