A small teddy bear complains about his strange costume. He says, "I feel such a fool. No one else here looks like me. I'm hot and uncomfortable with a present attached to my paw." Later on, this little bear discovers that he represents Santa Claus and that, as a little Santa Bear, he has a special role to play in the family's Christmas celebration. He meets a golden Christmas angel, and together they appreciate the beauty and joy of the holiday season. Now that he understands his purpose, Santa the teddy bear encourages all the other teddies to share their stories, as each one of them is a reflection of love, comfort, care, and appreciation for the people and life around them, inspired by the birth of Jesus Christ.
There were a few teddy bears in a house on a hill and a family living there. Other bears came and stories began to emerge as the years went by. The fiction events highlighted true life events and became a source of amazement and surprise for visitors and impacted both children and adults. This book is about the beginning of what became a life journey. Pete the Pilot, Matt the Mechanic, Henry the Hiker, and Francis the Florist have their stories told and involve the animals and residents of this country home. Many bear friends are part of the action.
In the middle of so much strife in our world, it is important that we all take time to breathe in the peace available. This book is a collection of real-life stories to think about and to meditate upon. They are aligned with Christian scripture verses. This peace is not about absence of war or personal trouble. It is of the inner kind, sometimes supernatural and surprising.
