We have heard in the groups, often, that the women lived similar lives as children, they have NO other experience to raise their own children. Others are addicted to drugs, drinking and men so much that they will allow a man to abuse, torture, molest and murder their children rather than get their own lives straightened out. Many of these women live in taxpayer supported housing, supported by public assistance, these programs HAVE taken a mandatory treatment approach. WE as a country HAVE to resolve these issues, and help these women stand up for themselves and their children. THEY, over the past 12 years have helped to shape their workbooks and groups with those who work with them.
