This book is intended to aid the student preparing for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Chinese Herbology module and California Acupuncture Licensing Examination. It is a concise review of Chinese Herbology and is intended to help the student recall material taught during the second and third years of Acupuncture schools. It is not intended to substitute for comprehensive textbook. This book is highly recommended to be used to combine with my another book Chinese Herbology Practice Tests which includes over 2700 herbal practice questions.

This book is intended to aid the student studying Chinese Herbology and preparing for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Chinese Herbology module and California Acupuncture Licensing Examination. It is highly recommended to be used to combine with my another book which is Review and Pretest for NCCAOM and California Exams in Chinese Herbology. I have been teaching Chinese Herbology and NCCAOM Board Reivew class since 2009 in Acupuncture college in the US. This book is basically the result of my teaching materials and experience. It includes over 2700 practice questions in Chinese Herbology and is intended to help the student prepare for general class exam and Board licensing exam in Chinese Herbology.

This book is intended to aid the student preparing for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in TCM Foundation module and California Acupuncture Licensing Examination. It is a concise review of Foundation of TCM and is intended to help the student recall material taught during the first and second years of Acupuncture schools. It is not intended to substitute for comprehensive textbook. The material is organized and divided into eight chapters. It will cover Fundamentals of TCM, Introduction to Acupuncture, Diagnosis of TCM, Patterns Differentiation, Treatment Principle, Treatment Strategy, Disease Prevention and Patient Education, and Food therapy.The knowledge points are summarized by words, concisely and clearly, with appropriate charts or pictures attached. Numerous practice questions reflecting the content and format of NCCAOM exam in TCM Foundation module are included after each chapter and six comprehensive examinations at the end of the book. These questions can be used as a pretest to identify areas of weakness or as a post test to determine mastery

The material is organized and divided into ten chapters and two appendices. The book covers Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, Gastrointestinal, Endocrine, Reproductive, Urinary, Nervous/Musculoskeletal system, Hematology, Dermatological conditions, and Psychiatry/Addiction. The knowledge points are summarized by words, clearly and concisely, with appropriate charts or pictures attached. Numerous practice questions reflecting the content and format of the NCCAOM exam in the Biomedicine module are included after each chapter. Seven full-length practice exams are in the second appendix. These questions can be used as a pretest to identify areas of weakness or as a post-test to determine mastery.

This handout is intended to aid the student preparing for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture with Point Location module and California Acupuncture Licensing Examination. It is designed for the Board preparation course and should be used with another book "Review and Pretest for NCCAOM and California Licensing Exams in Acupuncture with Point Location (2015 Edition)". This handout can be also used for self-study. This handout is organized and divided into four weeks class meetings and assignments. It covers weekly Reading Materials, weekly Knowledge/Test Points, weekly Class Discussion Questions, weekly Class Quiz, weekly Home Assignments, weekly Questions, and weekly Class Assignments Answer Key. By consistent four weeks study, the student can be ready to take the National Board exam in Acupuncture with Point Location.
