This devotional collection of thoughts expresses the author's reflections over a year's time as she opened her head and heart to God's wisdom and intervention throughout daily walks. These thoughts document a year that was filled with many transitions after retirement from a 35 year teaching career and reflect how God touches our lives through the many simple things encountered on a daily basis. Through feathers, pebbles, puddles, and rainbows, God taps us on the shoulder and reassures us of his amazing love and grace. As He continues to reveal His plan and purpose for us throughout all dimensions and seasons of our lives, we are blessed with an awareness that each step of our journey brings us closer to the fulfillment of the joy He intends for us to know. Deborah E. Matson is a retired elementary school teacher and lives in Nebraska. She is the proud mother of four grown children and is blessed to have twelve grandchildren who often provide the inspiration for her writing. This is her first published work.
