A Gift Everlasting is an emotional story of a woman who lives in fear and doubt until she finally realizes that God is her comforter and her provider. These poems from the heart reveal the authors futile efforts to control her life until God decided not to wait on her any longer. Verses reveal a gamut of emotions, ranging from loneliness to pure joy. The poems tell stories of a woman facing the end of her life alone, a grandmother in prayer with her granddaughter for the first time, and a woman finding sheer joy in knowing God. In addition, various images Debbie has seen in routine outings become catalysts for stories about a wooden cross, a small country church, and the beauty of Gods nature. The section entitled Warrior includes a tribute to those who have sacrificed in service to our great nation, as well as those who serve in the Lords army.
