This bedtime storybook is based on Debralee Lyndon's popular internet cartoon characters, The Chicks. Chick school is over for the summer, and the chicks are bored, so after receiving a mail invitation, they go to the Bear Factory, where they can build their own Teddy Bear and get a free lunch. Following signs and instructions, they go from each department to the next, and with the help of a big yellow robot arm, they add eyes, ears, feet, and nose then stuff and paint their bear. At the end, the reader is asked to provide a name for the Chicks' new bear.
