The early Hinckley Triumphs produced from 1991 to 2004 – Trophy, Daytona, Trident, Trident Sprint, Tiger, Speed Triple, Adventurer, Thunderbird – were designed and manufactured using a modular concept. This assists in the sharing of components across the range of bikes, which was useful with the restricted availability of spare parts. With over 725 colour photographs, First Generation Hinckley Troumph (T300) Motorcycles provides helpful guidance on keeping your bike on the road, including a discussion of the models produced and their modular design; identifying common problems and how to address them. There is a comprehensive guide to maintenance, including the tools required and details of restoration, modification and upgrades, from changing the exhaust to fabricating swing arms. Also included is a useful list of suppliers for both new and reconditioned parts, as well as specialist service providers.

This is the continuing story of David Clarke in which he tells of his encounter with great conflicts of conscience, whilst at the Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists Church, after when he seceded, in 1984, over matters of conscience. For three years he wondered what the future held for him and wondered about the direction that he should go. This led him to severe depression, thinking that God had rejected him, and then to a desperate state of mind resulting in him turning away from God and to open sin. This is the continuing story of David's life as told in his book , "Converted on LSD Trip 4th Edition," and relates the journey that led to his fall, divorce, the desperation, recovery and restoration to faith in Christ. He then tells of his encounter with so called Elders of a Christian Church who wished to appoint women as elders, and of his subsequent actions, and writing an account in his book Mary, Mary Quite Contrary. He tells of the good news he received in 1998 of his brother Michael and his conversion from crime to Christ, that took place 5 years into a 16-year prison sentence, in the Philippines. This was 30 years after David's own conversion from crime to Christ, which was the moving factor behind publishing his book, "Converted on LSD Trip." David believes this book will be very useful for people who too may have turned from God, in unbelief, and of the road of recovery, to any of all ages who wish to see the hand of God at work and in particular for those learning the Christian faith.

Originally published on the 11th, of February 2001 whilst I was a lecturer at Fareham Collage in the UK, and it has gone through various additions and formates, for various reasons. In the first edition the introduction started by stating, 'David Clarke is currently a lecturer at Fareham college teaching electronics, has taught there since 1989. However, since leaving Dover Borstal in 1968 he had a three-year career of undetected crime, until the 16th of January 1970 when he experienced a Christian conversion from crime to follow Christ, whilst suffering from the effects of LSD. Since his conversion he continued his education by learning to read as he was virtually illiterate, by using the bible and classical Christian literature. He then trained to be a lecturer, at Wolverhampton Polytechnic, and graduated with a Cert Ed awarded by Birmingham University, and commenced teaching at Luton college of higher education in 1978. Since that time, he has taught hundreds of students during his 21 years as a lecture at colleges and Higher and Further Education. In 1990 David turned away from God, for a short period of time, in unbelief and went through divorce and a remarriage. However, he returned to God in faith and repentance and since 1994 has spoken to many of his friends all about what Jesus had done for him. In this part of my life I tell of my recovery after a fall into open sin and written as a testimony for any who find themselves in that situation. David believes it is now time to complete student's education he now wishes to make known to all his former friends, and students, and their friends that his bad experience on LSD is nothing compared to what hell is like. He wants to tell them all about the salvation Jesus came to give men and that men may be saved by through faith in Jesus Christ and that like Oskar Schindler, and his list, all that were on that list were saved so to this David has a list of over 250 students and friends who he's seeking and will be contacting shortly as he wishes to persuade them to listen and hear, in full, of all what Jesus has done for him. He says many of his friends have found life difficult and gone through marriage breakups, been made redundant and without work, some are without hope some in drink dry out centres, some are ill and hopeless and some have died. David conducted the funeral of John Sawyer in Titchfield, in 1997 a student of his when he had no one left in the world to help him in his death.

David Clarke tells of his Secession from the Bierton Strict and Particular Baptist Church, in 1984 over matters of conscience. This Church was formed in 1831 and registered as a Calvinistic Protestant dissenting Society and became a Gospel Standard Cause, in 1981, but sadly fell into serious doctrinal errors teaching general redemption to Sunday school children, maintaining that the law of Moses was the rule of life for the believer, and not the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The church were unable to distinguish between the 7th day Sabbath and the Lord's Day, which caused critical judgments by some and infringements on church members liberties. This was despite the fact their articles of religion taught otherwise. This included censorship over the use of cassette recorders and other electronic means of communication. David brings attention to other serious superstitious views, which included reverence of a Holy Table and a belief the Chapel building was the house of God. David also records the actions of a certain woman exercising usurped authority over the male members of the church which left the Church members powerless, so leaving its members unable to function as a cause of Christ. This happened 46 years ago and the chapel was closed for worship 16 years later, in December 2002 after all the former church members died. David is now the sole remaining member of the Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists, as his membership was never terminated by the church, according to strict rules of church membership. David also records the difficulties that arose from within and without the church due to certain objections that arose against their articles of religion that denied Duty Faith, Duty Repentance, and certain ministerial addresses to mixed congregations, and strict communion practice. All of which matters. He was able to clarify and set out the scriptural view on this matter with the aid and assistance from other Gospel Standard ministers, the writing of Dr John Gill and others, but not to the satisfaction of the members. This was during the time he was the secretary of the church in 1982 and a sent minister of the gospel. This publication is to encourage any who are called to the ministry to earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1:6. And recommends Dr. John Gill's Body of Doctrinal and Practical Divinity and believes this personal testimony will educate and enable others to learn from.

Sixty years of letters, official reports, photographs, drawings and paintings of UFO sightings from British government filesOriginally established at the request of Winston Churchill in the aftermath of World War II, the British Ministry of Defence's UFO Desk operated for more than 60 years, collating mysterious sightings and records of strange objects in the sky from observant, and sometimes imaginative, members of the public. As well as letters and official reports, the UFO files contain photographs, drawings and even paintings of these curious sightings sent in by concerned citizens. In 2007, after decades of stonewalling questions about its UFO investigations, the Ministry of Defence announced that it had decided to release all of its surviving files, in an attempt to counter "the maze of rumor and frequently ill-informed speculation" on the subject.Journalism scholar David Clarke has been working with the UK's National Archives on the UFO files since the Ministry of Defence began to release them. In this volume, Clarke selects examples from the archives to present a history of British UFO art and the remarkable stories behind these images: accounts of an alien craft on the A1, flying saucers over Hampstead and a spaceship landing at a primary school in Macclesfield. Revealing the uncanny experiences, rumors, hopes, fears and fantasies expressed by British people from all walks of life, UFO Drawings from the National Archives offers a glimpse into a secret social history of the twentieth century.UFO Drawings from the National Archives is part of the Four Corners Irregulars series spotlighting important but overlooked areas of creativity from modern British visual history.

There are three separate accounts in the New Testament of a man who had been possessed with devils. He had been living among the tombs and the people had attempted to bind him with chains and fetters but he broke them so he would not be bound. People were afraid of him and avoided him. He had no house and wore no cloths and the devil drove him often into the wilderness. And Jesus had just demonstrated his authority over the wind and the tempest to his disciples and now had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man and gave leave for the legion of devils to go into the swine and as a result the man was found at the feet of Jesus clothed in his right mind. The man wanted to be with Jesus and go with him, but Jesus said no but rather got to his own city and tell of all that the Lord had done for him. And straight way he went and published throughout the whole city of all that Jesus had done for him. This book is a record of the personal testimony of the author in which he tells of what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for him it was first published on 11th February 2001 under the title, Converted on LSD Trip. It is not written to glorify his past life but written as a testimony to what the Lord has done for him, despite his past sinful and criminal life. In this he tells of his early life before his sudden conversion from crime to Christ, him learning the doctrines of the grace of God and him joining the Bierton Strict and Particular Baptists church, in 1976. He tells of his succession from the church over matters of conscience, in 1984. These matters are told in detail, in his book, 'The Bierton Crisis 1984'.Even the apostle Paul told of is past life as a religious man in his own defence when persecuted by the Jews. He was a Hebrew of the Hebrews, circumcised the 8th day, Of the tribe of Benjamin, as toughing the Law blameless, not in a way of boasting but to show his past life, even though he was a religious man he considered it as worthless. He had been a Pharisee and from a religious zealous point of view persecuted the church even unto strange cities. He punished them oft in every synagogue, and compelled them to blasphemy, and being exceeding mad against them. When the Apostle Paul was arrested by the lord on the Damascus Rod he fell to the ground and Jesus instructed him that he was to make him a minister and a witness both of the things he had seen and those things He would appear to him.

Articles of religion or confessions of faith are used to inform others of what a person, a church or society believe with respect to religious beliefs. Some churches restrict membership to those who will subscribe to their articles of religion. One of the problems that this brings is that there comes a time when a new believer cannot, in conscience, subscribe to a tenet of belief that they do not understand. It may be the article is badly worded or poorly written, or may in fact be in error. In which case, a new believer could not in conscience subscribe to something they do not understand. This did not happen in the early days of the Christian church, as there was Apostolic authority to settle matters of religious differences. Those whom the Lord added to the church were such as should be saved, and they did not have to subscribed to a written confession of faith like those we are about to look at in a moment. Even the Apostles were growing in knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, just as we do today. Peter is an example of an Apostle was in error whom Paul had to withstand to the face, over matters of doctrine and practice.1 Galatians 2.7.

  • - Remembering the Victims of State Socialism in Germany
    av David Clarke
    1 220,-

The post-war Federal Republic of Germany faced the task of addressing the plight of the victims of state socialism under the Soviet occupation of eastern Germany and in the German Democratic Republic, many of whom fled to the west. These victims were not passive objects of the West German state's policy, but organized themselves into associations that fought for recognition of their contribution to the fight against communism. After German unification, the task of commemorating and compensating these victims continued under entirely new political circumstances, yet also in the context of global trends in memory politics and transitional justice that give priority to addressing the fate of victims of non-democratic regimes.Constructions of Victimhood: Remembering the Victims of State Socialism in Germany draws on the constructivist systems theory of Niklas Luhmann to analyze the role of victims organizations, the political system, and historians and heritage professionals in the struggle over the memory of suffering under state socialism, from the Cold War to the present day. The book argues that the identity and social role of victims has undergone a process of constant renegotiation in this period, offering an innovative theoretical framework for understanding how restorative measures are formulated to address the situation of victims. As such, it offers not only insights into a neglected aspect of post-war German history, but also contributes to the ongoing academic debate about the role of victims in process of transitional justice and the politics of memory.
