Perhaps as never before in the Church's history is there a need to return to the message of repentance of sin, obedience to the Word of God and separation from the world. Sadly, these things are seldom mentioned in today's churches. They have been replaced with a new and erroneous view of God's Grace and minimize the effects of sin on the life of the believer and its eternal consequences. As a result multiple thousands have been lulled into a false sense of security. One Bible teacher went so far as to say "that our obedience to God's Word has nothing to do with our eternal destiny." But does the Bible really teach that? WHAT ABOUT OUR SIN? ARE ETERNAL CONSEQUENCES INVOLVED HERE? DOES OUR OBEDIENCE TO THE WORD OF GOD REALLY MATTER? D. Martin Lloyd Jones in his expository on the "Sermon on the Mount" wrote: "There is a defective sense of sin and a defective doctrine of sin in the church today. There is not the real, deep conviction of sin as was once the case....that conversion must be preceded by conviction, a real sense of sin must come before there can be the true joy of salvation. That is the whole essence of the gospel" (D. Martin Lloyd Jones - Studies in the Sermon on the Mount - Wm. B. Eerdmans Publishing Company). During this discussion I will present a series of arguments, from the Word of God, that I believe will show us that our sins as well as obedience to God's Word does have very serious and potentially eternal consequences. In my other book entitled "Spiritual Warfare" I exposed some of Satan's counterfeits of the Holy Spirit as well as a discussion on demonology and deliverance. In this book, however, I want to deal with the Doctrine of Unconditional Eternal Security, a doctrine that has lulled countless thousands into a false sense of security. The Doctrine of Unconditional Eternal Security or Once Saved-Always Saved teaches that there is nothing in our conduct and behavior that can cause us to lose our salvation once we have accepted Christ as our Lord and Saviour. One Bible teacher went so far as to say during his teaching series on Eternal Security: "That our obedience to God's Word has nothing to do with our eternal destiny." But does the Bible really teach that? This book is an examination of the Scripture to answer that very question. David Cassady is not a Bible scholar, pastor or teacher. Nor has he been to seminary. He is simply a lay person who is deeply concerned about what he sees happening in and to the body of Christ and wants to help by shedding some light on this very misleading doctrine. He is also the author of a book entitled: "Spiritual Warfare" which deals with religious deception, counterfeits of the Holy Spirit, demonology and deliverance.

I remember when I was in the Marine Corps, and just prior to going to Viet Nam, I was given training to prepare me for what was ahead. I was taught who the enemy was and about his weapons and tactics. I was also taught the weapons and tactics I would employ against that enemy. As Christian soldiers we too must learn who our enemy is and what weapons we are to use against him. The less we know about our enemy the better he likes it. A lack of knowledge concerning our enemy places him at a tremendous advantage, as if being invisible was not enough. "Warfare" provides a profile of the real enemy of mankind, his weapons and tactics as well as the weapons we are to use against that enemy. Warfare is an attempt to bring light and truth into a world of darkness and deception. It is realized that many will be exposed to areas of satanic demonic deception they were heretofore ignorant of. Although it is not my intent to cover all aspects of the subject of demonology, I do want to cover a wide range of topics. I also want to stress that when dealing with this subject many tend to operate at one of two extremes. They take this whole thing with a casual, somewhat unconcerned attitude or they get into bondage over thinking there is a demon under every rock. My intent is to bring as much balance to this subject as I can. May the God of all Grace and Mercy give you understanding.
