A photograph takes Daniel Barker, The Old Warrior, on a trip down memory lane to Iraq. After receiving a phone call from an officer serving there, Barker loaded up and headed to The Big Sand Box to work beside his son, Joe, and set up some high speed, low drag teams of Civilian Government Employees. He also ran into gun runners who were stealing American arms and picked up some leads on some other bad guys.

The Pig Farmer's Daughter picks up where A Few Days Back In Mississippi leaves off. Daniel barker is on his was back home to Colorado when he meets up with an old friend and agrees to accompany him to a farm in the Mississippi Delta to check on a moonshine whiskey operation. But things often have a way of turning into more than they should and the old warrior winds up in New Orleans running down illegal whiskey, a murderous madam and a south sea cult.
