Darryl Robert Schoon is known for his writings on economics and metaphysics. In Time Of The Vulture (2007), ordered by readers in twenty-five countries, he predicted the financial crisis that began in 2008. You Can't Always Get What You Want: A Novel About Free Will, is set in the San Francisco Bay Area during the hippie drug-dealing era. Sometimes, in the early morning hours the conversation I had with the monkey comes back to me. The conversation occurred when I had a summer job at the biological sciences lab at UC Davis. For reasons unknown to me then and now I had dropped acid at work. Maybe I had dropped out of boredom or maybe I did it because I was supposed to hear what the monkey had to say. I don't know, but I do know when I heard the monkey's words in my head, I wasn't surprised in the least. Sweeping the floor in front of his cage, I had looked up and noticed this animal watching me. I remember my first thought: "Wow, check out this monkey!" And as I stood there tripping, I heard the words in my head that are as clear today as they were then: "Who do you think you are anyhow? At least I know I'm in a cage."
Darryl Robert Schoon's memoir is composed of thoughts written during a period of enlightenment and articles in which he predicts and explains today's economic crisis. These are interwoven with writings he found relevant on his spiritual journey, offering readers a radically different perspective on today's economic crisis. The economic crisis is an opportunity to remember who we are, to reconnect with the Creator and to regain the power that is ours. This book explains why the economic collapse is a prerequisite to a better world to come. Buckminster Fuller predicted this crisis in Critical Path (1981), describing it as an unprecedented crisis universally intended to transform humanity from a competitive dysfunctional state of scarcity to a cooperative world of abundance. Fuller also wrote that humanity is now in final exam to determine if it qualifies for continued existence. The intention of Docking At The Mothership is to help readers pass that exam.
On May 9, 2019, Darryl Robert Schoon sent a letter to Congressman Adam Schiff, Chairman of the House Select Committee on Intelligence, concerning the diversion and skimming of funds at the highest levels of government: the White House, the Central Intelligence Agency, and the National Security Council. Details and supporting documentation were provided by Howard Hughes' former banker, Dr. Norman Bernard Thirion. In 1983, Thirion had been approached by Transglobal Productions Ltd, ostensibly a New York movie production company. The chairman of Transglobal Productions was General Robert E. Cushman, former Deputy Director of the CIA and Commandant (ret.) of the U.S. Marine Corps. On behalf of Transglobal, Thirion successfully solicited hundreds of millions of dollars from the Saudi royal family to assist Afghan freedom fighters in their fight against Soviet oppression. The money never reached them. The money was diverted and skimmed and was later discovered in a secret CIA Swiss bank account co-mingled with illegal profits from Iran-Contra. The bank account was controlled by an Israeli-Swiss banker whose bank, the Bank of New York, was later connected to events surrounding 9/11; the details of which were sent in a subsequent letter to Congressman Schiff on May 22, 2019. On July 11, 2019, the information was also sent to Geoffrey Berman, the then U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York.
