ME AND THING is a simple, charming story of dealing with a problem that just won't go away. For me, it was a way to deal with personal grief, but for others the ""thing"" in the story could represent any other kind of negative presence too overwhelming to handle on a day-to-day basis.The book ends on a very hopeful note as the ""me"" character overcomes the ""thing"" in his life to a point where it is no longer a problem.
