L¿accueil fait en France à mon Histoire sincère de la Nation française m¿a encouragé à une entreprise encore plus téméraire ; j¿ai essayé de réunir en un seul volume l¿histoire comparée de tous les peuples d¿Europe depuis les temps les plus anciens jusqüà nos jours.
