She spent her early years caring for her children, whilst her husband whom she met when they were both 16 years old, brought home the bacon. When the children were older, she went on to have an office-based career. She has two grown up daughters and three granddaughters. She confesses to knowing nothing about sons or grandsons. At home, she lives with her two dogs and her beautiful snowshoe cat.This is her first book which is an autobiography. When not writing, Catherine enjoys long walks through the fields with her dogs.
