"One of the most significant sources of energy consumption in buildings is the space conditioning that is needed to ensure that a space is thermally comfortable for its occupants. Climate extremes such as heat waves and rising temperatures have prompted an increase in the energy requirements of buildings. As a result, the need for more energy-efficient space cooling methods has become critical.
