Welcome to "God's Unbreakable Promises Volume One: 52 Sermon Detailed Outlines for the Year." This book is designed with pastors in mind, aiming to be an invaluable asset to those who are dedicated to serving their congregations through the proclamation of God's Word. In the demanding world of pastoral ministry, the consistent demand for fresh, engaging, and insightful sermons can be an immense challenge. The task of crafting a sermon that is biblically accurate, theologically sound, and personally applicable week after week is a noble but weighty responsibility. That is where "God's Unbreakable Promises" comes in, designed to lighten that burden while still ensuring depth and faithfulness to the Scripture's truths. This volume contains 52 detailed sermon outlines - one for every week of the year - all centered around the magnificent promises of God. These promises, found throughout the Bible, are unchanging truths that offer comfort, hope, and reassurance to believers, forming the backbone of Christian faith. Each sermon outline is structured around five distinct points, designed to delve deeply into the various dimensions of God's promises. They provide a comprehensive guide, offering a breadth of content that ensures a well-rounded exploration of each topic. The beauty of these outlines is their flexibility. While each is thorough, you are invited to use them in a way that best suits your specific congregation's needs and context. The five points can serve as a comprehensive framework for a single sermon or can be utilized selectively to support your unique pastoral vision. Perhaps a particular point resonates deeply with the current circumstances of your church, or maybe two points synergize perfectly with a message series you are developing. You have the freedom to adapt these outlines in whatever way will most powerfully speak to your congregation. "God's Unbreakable Promises Volume One" is not just a book; it's a pastoral tool, a year's worth of spiritual guidance at your fingertips. It aims to be a faithful companion in your sermon preparation journey, aiding you in illuminating God's Word, providing a fresh perspective on His promises, and inspiring your congregation towards a deeper understanding and a stronger faith. DISCUSSION QUESTIONS INCLUDED FOR EACH CHAPTER (Great for Sunday School and Small Groups) What has happened to the church we once held so near and dear? Was the church that believed the Bible to be the inerrant and infallible Word of God wrong? Did we make a mistake in insisting that what God said was true and the truths shared in His Word were meant to be believed and followed? Are we incorrect in believing that God still considers sin to be sin, and that there are black and white answers to most of our questions about what is, and is not, acceptable behavior? Have you ever considered what your church looks like through the eyes of Jesus? I think for most of us that isn't something that would ordinarily be on our minds. While we cannot know exactly what He sees or thinks, I don't think it would be too hard to gather a basic idea, knowing what we do of His character and teaching from Scripture. And doesn't it make sense, given the fact that the church is the creation of Christ, that we would want to know how things look from His perspective? I believe for those who claim to be His disciples, it would be of utmost importance. The good news is that while Jesus didn't directly reveal to us what He thinks of "First Community Church" (feel free to insert your church's name) we can examine what Jesus had to say to seven churches that existed over 2,000 years ago in the book of Revelation. While there is some debate over what these churches stand for, and various interpretations concerning them, we can safely say that these seven churches were actual churches that existed in history, just like yours does today. I believe that these churches serve as representatives of all churches that would follow them, and that by closely examining them, we can learn how Jesus sees our churches today. Over seven chapters we will look at these churches and see what Jesus had to say to them, and also learn how what He says applies to our churches today.
The Serious Notetakers Bible: Gospel of Matthew Edition is designed to help students of the Word feel free to study and write in-depth notes right in the text or margins of their Bible. With most modern Bibles it is difficult to find the space to write. In addition, some are hesitant to make notes in a leather-bound Bible. This Bible looks more like a notebook, but it contains an extremely accurate and updated version of the American Standard Bible, known as the World English Bible. The text is in 14-point type, so that it is easy to read. The spacing is set at 1.5 lines so that it is ready to be underlined, circled, have arrows drawn from one passage to the next, etc... In addition, every other page is completely set aside for note-taking and writing down potential Bible study or sermon outlines. We will be releasing more volumes in the days to come.
Get ready for a challenge! We have compiled 1,500 Questions and Answers on the Bible that are going to show how much, or how little, you, or those you quiz, know about Scripture. Unfortunately, most will discover "how little" as these quizzes are certainly not designed to be easy. The good news is, that if you keep taking the quizzes over and over again, you will begin to acquire a great deal of knowledge concerning the Scripture. The purpose of these quizzes is not to make anyone feel stupid, but to challenge them to learn more! If you can master all 30 series (1,500 questions) you most likely will know more about the Bible than anyone else you will ever come across. These questions do not call for knowledge of genealogical tables, but of the main Bible characters. They do not call for the details of Jewish history, and not a single date is asked for in all the fifteen hundred questions; but they do insist upon knowledge of the Bible's most significant and interesting events, from cover to cover. The questions are not theological - perhaps some would find them easier if they were, for then they could air their theories; but they call for an acquaintance with the most beautiful and uplifting sentences and passages in all the sixty-six books of the Bible, the inspired wisdom on which all theology is based - or ought to be. How to Use: Use these questions to test yourself, your Sunday School Class, your Youth Group, your Bible Study, your Teachers, your Family, etc... *There are 30 Series with 50 Questions each. *Each question is worth 2 points (multiply the number right x2 and you'll have your score) *You can use the quizzes in any order you want, but we suggest doing one series over and over until you have mastered most of the content. Once you know all 50 questions, move onto the next one.
